With the Mangekyo, it's as if Itachi lives on in Sasuke. But ofcourse, Sasuke does the exact opposite of what Itachi wanted to do...but what can you expect ? Part 2 Sasuke is Part 2 Sasuke after all. You can't except something decent from Sasuke.
