Storm 2 announced in Shonen Jump

It was announced in the April Issue of Shonen Jump Magazine which I received today. This should put to rest fears of no us release. The game will have over 40 characters and an online mode. The official release date was not announced, but at least we now know 100% its coming to the states. There is a single player mode and you can run around in Konoha. Hopefully this will be improved. The support characters have been tweaked for more strategic use. Apparently you can start combos and counter with them.

The best part about this is the online mode though.

It had a acan of Sakura vs 100 puppet sasori and the rasenshuriken/kirin scan. No news on specific characters or how far it would go. Just that there were over 40.

And yes it really did say online mode.

with the character roster over 40 (which i hope doesn't include transformations like curse seals and solely means individual chars.) then the roster will hopefully be like Narutimate Accel 3, which is very pleasing

That's awesome that it is coming to the U.S. after all. I was really worried that we wouldn't get it. I can't wait for it to release. I hope it isn't too far away.

I saw on youtube sasuke in an akatsuki uniform talking to madara so at least we know it will go that far...wich could mean Killer Bee as one of those 40 charecters!!!

If it's the one when they're talking during a sunset, then i'm sad to say that its not UNS2, it's either for a OVA or another game, i forget which one

Ninja storm wasn't bad at all (It was better than the 360 series...) the only thing wrong with it to me was that it didn't have Zabuza, Haku, or an online mode.
