The question has never been if dubbed episodes will be released, the question is when and where. And as soon as we can announce something we will. Sorry to keep you disappointed for the time being.

what's wrong with subtitles? The dubbing is terrible in all the episodes I've watched so far in english. Well, subtitles are sometimes just as bad... I wish datteboyo was still dubbing...

I am personally quite content with the service Viz provides even though it's not my main source of naruto episodes.

How can you judge the dub if it isn't out yet? If you don't want the editing then buy the uncut boxsets because even the original Naruto ones that I own have swearing and tons of blood.

When you read it, are you 'sounding it out' in your head, as if someone was reading it to you out loud or saying it for reals? That's actually a common reason people get held up with subtitles at first: when they read it as if it were spoken English, and not written English.

There's obviously not enough time for you to 'hear' the words in the time they go by at, which is why you're suppose to 'see' them instead; it sounds odd, but give it a try. I started using subtitles like you currently are before I learned Japanese, and they pissed me off to until I learned how to 'read' them instead of 'hear' them.

If you get used to just 'taking it in' without trying to 'listen' to the words when they show up on screen, you'll be able to keep up; you'll even start wishing the words would go by faster.
