I hate Fangirls, with a passion.
So I'd probably beat the snot out of them on principal REGARDLESS of who they were trying to "steal". (hopefully by destroying them mentally... but with fangirls... ha! is that even possible?)

That aside... I'm not threatened by such creatures because they hardly ever really care about the things they obsess over so much. Seriously... it's all blah blah blah... let me steal you away against your will and/or contort you into something I see fit.

I love the people I love enough to let them choose who they are and who they "hang out with". Yes, I'm extremely overprotective... but that's my nature.
Example.
If Shino were dragged away by some idiot and he liked it... I'd be ticked because I think he could make better friends, but I'd also be happy that he's happy. Give my input, but let him make his own successes and mistakes.
Now if he didn't want that attention... heh... that's another story. I'd slowly torture that person from the inside out.

Really, killing the person that stole them wouldn't help anything at all. Unless the character was Itachi or something, they'd probably think you were some kind of monster to do that. Which, of course, would ruin the point of killing the person as you still would end up not having your character.

Am I thinking this through too much?
