Shino vs. Suigetsu

Basically I'm a shino fan want to know more about him.

i thought this pair will have good match.

Shino's bugs may not have an effect on Suigetsu's hydration technique. While it was in a filler...one of Guren henchmen, the guy with similar water attributes, was unaffected by Shino's bugs. So if that doesn't work on Suigetsu then Suigetsu wins easily.

EDIT: To add to this..

Suigetsu's speed has shown to be greater than Shino.

Only way I see a win for Shino is if he had prep time to evolve his bugs to be able to eat through the water and Suigetsu's chakra. Without prep time he will surely lose.

Bug Globe surrounds him and drains his Chakra out.
Not even Tobi's Intangibility helped here since he vanished.

How do we know that the bugs will have an effect on him when he uses the hydration technique? They suck the chakra from skin not from water.

I'm not saying Suigetsu for sure wins but I have no way of knowing if the bugs will actually have an effect especially since they didn't on Nurari who is similar to Suigetsu...but that was filler.

Bug globe may surround him but they can't do much if he just turns into water and they drown. They have no shown the ability to survive in water either.

hey i kow one thing bug globe isnt a lil tech. that you can dodge with substitution.

It was filler arc so I don't know if that would be good to count as a feat...but when Shino used his bugs on Nurari they had no effect on his body due to the water body structure he had.

Shino could definately leach suigetsu's chakra ith bug swarm, but can he do it before he gets blitzed and chopped in half by suigetsu, who fought respectably against Kller Bee?

How could he leech when Suigetsu uses Hydration? Bugs can suck chakra from human skin but from water? Wouldn't they drown?

I'm not saying they can't leech his chakra but I don't know how that would work against Suigetsu.

since it takes chakra to do the hydration technique, couldnt the bugs suck up the chakra and stop the technique? bugs dont drown that fast

it might or might no work (the filler thing does not count by the way). it is inconclusive. hoever Suigetsu has better speed feats and kenjutsu, whch would give him the upperhand
