How does water get to the people in the Sand Village? There doesn't seem to be an plumbing or wells or anything. I don't think it rains. People need water to survive. I know this is kind of a pointless logic fail, but still.

people live in deserts all over the world; the key thing is to find the water, as every desert has hidden water that simply needs to be found

not necesarrily. people have been surviving in the desert for thousands of year, and even those without immiediate water sources (beduin) get water somhow (I am not exactely sure how, as in Arizona we dont have that issue, but I no for a fact they somehow find water without the presense of a river or oasis, or else they would be long dead)
I know for a fact that you can squeeze water out of Cacti, but that would probably not be enough water for alot of people. however there is always water to be found in the desert if you know where to look
Why live there If they can't get water...
Just like the Nile in Egypt the basis of their civilisation was the Nile. If you dig deep enough you can probably find water somewhere.
