If you want a long game go play an RPG. Fighting games aren't known for single player length. Noone sinks 100+ hours in a fighting game's story mode.

Ugh, I did not like the Story Mode. I was glad when it finished.
Minus the fact that I ran around frantically going "O_O GAARA!!" and hopelessly looking for clues so I could see him...

*Cough* Anyway, the Story Mode was short, but that didn't bother me. The majority of it was running...lots of running. And I will go insane if I ever fight another bandit.

I hated the Black Shadow filler, I could've done without it. I know it was just to make it longer, but I get so...angry when I think of all the hours I've wasted there. And their Village name? FAIL! >_<

Anyway, I was content with the story length. I hardly ever like fighting game Story Modes, and I never want them to drag on. At least I don't buy for the story, I buy for the fighting. But I did enjoy the random extra stuff you could do after the Story Mode. ^^

i beat the story mode and hero mode after like 4-8 hours cuz i didnt have enough memory peices so i had to go back to story mode to look for more. i dont bother doing missions, finding toads, or fighting no face gang because its to much of a hassle

I wish it had been longer. The filler story took twice as long as the regular story for me. I mean what's up with that?

I have a two word answer for that. I will quote "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on this, "HELL, YEAH!" The game was almost useless except for the fact that it was the only Shippuden game for NA PS2.
