Lee hasnt shown the ability to use up to 8 Gates. Only 5.
Its unknown how fast you move wit 8 gates,but its certainly not on par with Sonic. And its definitly not on par with Super Sonic!!

this goes back to amy vs. sakura. i gave the nod to sakura on that one, so i'll stay consistent since lee>sakura and give him the W. 5th gate lee is low supersonic no? i really can't remember the damn speed tiers. either way amy only matched sonic straight foot racing not in combat. gates lee pinballs too much to be hit from head on and his attacks pack serious enough punch seeing as he cratered gaara into the ground. drunk fist lee would be too unpredictable as well to evade by straight up speed and his reaction is pro.

And Lee gets sake where? As far as I'm concerned it's not a part of his standard equipment and Amy could kill him before he drinks it either way.

That's nice and all except Gaara himself isn't very durable. Amy can blitz Gaara from that time and own him easily.

And yet Amy should still be more durable than Gaara. Lasers, bullets, and the like are >Gaara and I'm pretty sure Amy takes a lot of those.

She's never shown that because of game mechanics, I fail to see the point of somebody in a game needing to show teleport like movement.

Sonic doesn't always seem to teleport, does that mean Lee is faster than Sonic is?

In general Amy should be superior in speed to Lee, for example in Sonic Heroes her team was able to keep up with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, all of who should probably be at least supersonic.

Though Amy isn't on Sonic's level of speed she should still be faster than Lee is, and Spin Dash would probably severely damage Lee.

u shouldnt put words in ppls mouths...lee doesnt own amy, but he beats her. it takes time to build speed u know, which if the vid where everyone is referencing her keeping up with sonic is true, she took time to catch him. she can't go stock still one second, to "look the hell out im supersonic heres a hammer to ur face" the next second. thats why i say combat speed is key. gaara getting up = plot/shukaku. lee unlocking gates doesnt even take that long, and the sake thing is irrelevant tryna decide who is better n drunken lee is still lee.

Yeah it takes time, what five seconds? Oh my gosh it's gonna take Amy years to get to top speed, either way by the time Lee's done there's no way he's gonna be faster than her.

And Lee avoids her how? He can't avoid her while charging the gates, many people in Naruto could hit Lee easily before he finishes getting to Gate 5, and they are pretty much all slower than Amy is.

And how does Lee kill her if he's drunk, unpredictability is nothing if you can't kill your opponent, plus Drunken state wears off.

And again it doesn't matter if Drunk Lee is still Lee, he can't become drunk unless he has sake beforehand, so apparently in matches with Ichigo, Hollow 2 Ichigo is still Ichigo so that somehow means he can transform whenever he wants.

The Spin Dash is a move where a Sonic character curls up in a ball to generate speed (in game it's used as a way to go from 0 to fast at a stand still) or is used to hurl yourself across the ground in an attack ball. It was first used by Sonic in Sonic 2 on Genesis.

amy has no battle tactics, AT ALL. I usually agree with you lee, but i think your wrong on this one.amy can take bullets because the game makers didnt want to make you die in one hit and get frustrated, its like plot no jutsu. plus gaara's leags above amy in defense with his sand armor. lee out powers her to such an extent that a possible slight speed advantage would do her no good.

In that case Amy uses her hammer to make a tornado, either it catches Lee and she spin dashes him or he dodges and he's left way vulnerable for attack.

I fail to see how anything Lee does kills Amy. Amy has multiple ways to kill Lee.

And I don't like Amy, imo she's one of the most annoying Sonic characters, yet she still stomps Lee even though she seems useless.

Amy is the Sonic-verse version of Sakura (PTS version anyway). Still she's able to keep up with Sonic so that makes her fast enough to avoid Lee or Gaara (dunno why he was brought into the argument) and anything they can do. Though this does bring up an interesting question: Say Gaara by grace of plot got Amy in a Sand Burial attack. Could she get out of it?
