LOLz Yeah, i'd probably feel the same way. It would depend if this is Naruto from the original series, from Shippuden, or from Shippuden after the Pain Invasion.

Pre-Shippuden: No safe.
Shippuden: Somewhat safe.
Post-Pain Invasion: Very safe.

And yes, I would feel safe. He would protect me no matter what, and fight viciously hard for me. (Not like I would need it; I wouldn't stand back and uselessly watch him fight. We would fight together, and bring down the enemy together. I'm just saying that, in theory, since he always protects his friends and comrades, he would be a good guard for anyone.)
