A few scenes are not enough to make a crappy arc good, With the ToP arc you not only got crappy arc villians you got Gerrard who brought the story crashing down everytime he appeared, and in one arc managed to make Erza character development completely jump the rails.

It started to look back up again once we managed to ditch Erza's retarded friends, and the Luxus arc was actually pretty good until Mistgun's face was revealed and Natsu again needed help to take down arc villian (Luxus)...we then got the Orracion Sais arc...and you already know my feelings on that. with the villians being massive Glass Cannons and complete retards, Gerrard returning again and Natsu AGAIN needing outside assistance to finish the final boss of the arc...who had like only two moves....not to mention how Cobra went down.

The new arc has potential to be good, hopefully Mashima can keep this good feeling strong.

I wouldn't say Luxus was a glass cannon he actually put up a very good fight. as expected of one the guilds strongest.

Cobra was actually one of the few hopes left of having someone kick Natsu's ass. but he got defeated by Natsu screaming of all things...I mean dear god that's a horrible way to go down and brings down the arc even more.

I wouldn't say Luxus was a glass cannon he actually put up a very good fight. as expected of one the guilds strongest.

Cobra was actually one of the few hopes left of having someone kick Natsu's ass. but he got defeated by Natsu screaming of all things...I mean dear god that's a horrible way to go down and brings down the arc even more.
