lol more naruvspoke any ways blaziken is good on special attack and attack, um his fire attacks will burn yamato's wood style easly, blaziken best stat is power next is speed so he also has a good advantage there. The moves that will prolly end yamato are: flare blitz and since balziken uses it he gets S.T.A.B ( its a special effect that the moves does double the damage if used by a certain pokemon ) so yamato loses in a burning fate

o yes i forgot that is true but i doubt his water jutsu can hit blaziken since he is fast and if he uses flare blitz the water release will vaporize do to the extream degrees the move gives out

Thank you, I was waiting for someone to bring this up.

I don't believe a pokemon is as smart as an ANBU captain, so Yamato can win in terms of strategy. Besides, I believe Yamato's water and earth jutsu are sufficient enough to take a fire pokemon down. If we're taking this as a science, both materials work to deny oxygen to the flames of a fire, thus preventing it from burning.

If Yamato tries an earth release, he's screwed. Same goes for earth, since Blaziken is also a fighting type, and fighting>earth by Pokelogic. Yamato's best chance here is Water Vortex, and I'm not sure if he's fast enough to get Blaziken with it. I'd pin the as about equal in terms of speed, though, so he should be able to get it off no sweat. Basically, if Yamato has prior knowledge of Blaziken's powers and he uses a water release right off the bat, he stomps. Otherwise, he's screwed.

I say blaziken becuase Yamoto's never seen pokemon they didn't have cabel in his time lol plus Yamoto relizes on wood style to much for him to have a strong water justu

um no offense but can you try to remember wood style is created by putting together water and earth thats why yamato wins duh.

lol xD u stil didnt explain how yamato wins? still like i said flare blitz ends yamato in one hit since it has S.T.A.B ( makes a move does double the damage if used by a certain pokemon ) blaziken has stab on flare blitz so ya Good bye yamato

Just because a move is powerful doesn't mean it is necessarily going to connect. Sage had an excellent point with the fighting style versus earth (haven't seen any comment worth some merit since his), but I still think Yamato's water advantage would win out. Granted that is a matter of opinion and I don't know too much about Pokemon nowadays (it's all gotten a tad bit, well immature lol...not meaning to insult anyone, the GB/DS games are still good :D).

I like to base my logic on science when judging cross-universe battles, and by science, I believe Yamato would win. Both earth and water jutsus would suffocate any flames and his long range attacks can prevent any chance at close range combat.

isnt that STAB affect for pokemon battles only and either way any fire attack could burn the wood style even if it has a water coating also blaziken can spam attacks like flamethrower so yamato will slip up or run out of chakara

Blaziken when due to speed and stronger melee attacks. although yamato has strong water style, Blaziken is quick enough to dodge in my opinion.
