I dont know anything about Aikido, but I am ecperienced in martial arts (i'm not a true and certified master, but I am exceptional in Wing Chun and Jujitsu); trust me, martial arts>common streetfighting. (Wing Chun is essentially controlled, very close combat form of southern style Kung Fu, and is very fast and powerful is close quarters. it is great in streetfights, as is Jujitsu). TKD is also pretty good, as long as your oppentents are not exceptionally skilled, as all of TKD's high kicks can leave you oppen to counterattacks. in a streetfight against average opponents, however, TKD can be devistating (spinning heel kick says hi). Martial arts is not how it appear to be in the movies; granted, flashy moves are fine, and if used spareingly can be lethal, but it overused can get you hurt. simple, but fast and powerful short punches are most affective, especially when used while parying your opponent. kicks to the midsection can also be devasting, as the shock from getting kicked in the ribs will often stun your oppontent long enough for a flurry of short strikes; a good spot to aim is for the neck. and if a common streetfighter throws a wide punch, before he/she can even finnish, an experienced martiall artist (especialy in the sothern kung fu's) would already have litteraly dismantled his/her opponent from the top to the bottom. in short, Kung Fu>than your average streetfighter, unless he also knows Kung Fu, which in this thread I am assuming is not the case.

Aikido black belt wins for sure unless the street bullys know some martial arts which is impossible.
