But think about this for a second. If you tell them about the attack, then they will get really p***ed off and start a civil war with the Village (like what would of probably happened if Itachi hadn't killed his clan). This would mean that a lot of the clan would die. And people from the other clans of the village. If you have friends in the other clans, it's possible they would of died. There would of been a lot of death. Then, word of the Civil War would leak out across the world, and enemy nations would take the oppunity to attack the village. Even more people would die.

i know it was tragic but i think itachi did the right thing.... and yes i would kill me clan too... but i dont have a little brother to protect so i wouldnt have a "little sasuke" to protect
