Why was Sasori's death different from the rest?
-He chose to die
-He gave them the information they wanted and called it a "prize" even though he should have won that fight...Chiyo even said that Sasori had anticipated her attack yet didn't dodge it.
So why give them the information?
sorry it's just been bothering me.

He didn't dodge it because it was his parents.

Wasn't it obvious ? It's because deep in Sasori's heart, he realized that he wanted to die with his parents...that he wanted to be with them. And maybe because he didn't want to work for Akatsuki anymore. In his very last momements, I think that Sasori was "touched" by battling the first puppets he ever did. And especially since they are replicas of his mother and father with whom he wants to be the most. In short, he turned "good" at the end, even though he didn't want to admit it.

He probably figured that life was useless to him. So he just let himself die. It wasn't the fact that he didn't mean it,because he did. I also agree with assassin on the fact of watching this episode a million times with no explanation. That's just classic Masashi Kishimoto for you...

Technically what I said but more factual and heartwarming

OK I think I have a valid theory:
Sasori died because he was "in the middle" he wasn't a man or a puppet and he didn't belong so he let himself die. He gave the information because he wanted Orochimaru dead and he wasn't going to get the chance to kill him so he gave Sakura and Chiyo the information so they would kill Orochimaru in his stead.
I'm finally putting the pieces together...this is just a rough theory so it may change

Yeah you can say that. I have a bad habit of doing that
At the end of the day other than Itachi and Pain, Sasori had a heart deep deep with in him. But he probably just wanted to die because he still had one scroll left

I don't know why Sasori did so. Maybe he had sympathy for his grandmother and maybe even had a little crush on Sakura?? Eh, just giving some ideas. But I was pissed when he lost though. Sasori should've stomped Sakura and Chiyo.

Maybe he wanted to die in his "parents'" embrace. Although he was supposed to be emotionless it's quite possible especially since he was fighting his grandmother who was using his first puppets.
Or he might've just gotten tired of living and decided to die.
I think he gave the information about Orochimaru, because he probably wanted to kill him.

That does kind of make sense, since Kabuto (against his will) was spying for Sasori. Or something like that. That whole part kind of confused me.
I'd say he let himself die because he knew he couldn't even fully be a puppet.

He knows it wasn't his real parents
but the image of them maybe distracted him
and I don't think he should have died so early in the series :/
