but in the manga, which is way ahead of the anime, suigetsu is still alive. he's not dead--he's just dehydrated and has no more chakra at the end of episode 143. he recovers though.

You do understand that it did look like he could've died, right? Everyone gets their own ideas when certain scenes occur, so not all of us can get the idea of "he's obviously alive." Just because he's behind you doesn't mean you can talk like you understand everything.

Just my thought, though.

Some people just take what they see. If it looks like a character is dead, some assume they're dead. Same goes for pairings. Big time. Some people believe that NaruSaku will happen, some believe NaruHina will happen. It just depends on how they interpret a scene. To some of us one answer is obvious, but seeing as how I'd only start a pairing fight, I won't go into that, but some people took what they just saw in some chapters/episodes.

Some manga readers were just shocked that someone actually said Suigetsu was ------- when we know it's not true. So I'm sure the members who replied first (well most anyway) didn't mean to be rude they were just surprised. I was shocked as well and didn't understand how anyone could think he was ---- until I read whoever opened the thread is not a manga reader.
Also you shouldn't ask for spoiler tags when the title/first sentence of the thread obviously has spoilers in it (even if they weren't true). If you came into the thread like that then you should expect more spoilers inside.
