Filler episodes

OK.. why are there such things as filler epesodes. I mean some fillers are cool but most of them are long and drawn out and have nothing to do with anything. The Naruto series had about 80 of them! I mean come on! Some are a little funny like Viva Dojo with Lee and some have to do something with the real story line like when Jaraiya, Naruto , and Sakura went to the rice country. But the last one with kerenai was just plain dumb. Please just continue with the mangas storyline. I wanna see Pain fight Jaraiya, notsome three tailed jinchuriiki. By the way, when is this filler gonna end! Anybody know?

To answer the why are there fillers I do believe it's so the anime doesn't catch up to the manga (could be wrong) but either way some fillers are good

But i agree, i hate fillers
I like how there showing how the sanbi was caught i guess but they are dragging it out way too long.

THe filers are good.
because in NAruto unlike other animes,
the fillers explain the story.
raiga of the 7 swordsmen.
and the Sanbi arc with guren.

But right now...

I hate the three-tails arc.

Every week I hope to see an episode where

the plot goes forward somewhat (Sasuke vs. orochimaru)

but no. All that I see is three tails this, three tails that, barrier, four corner seal...

to awnser the question..it should end next week..i remember seeing somewhere it ends at episode 111...that is what i saw..and i dont know what happends..i thinki saw it in the naruto collector summer 2009 addition..and im with some of you on the fillers..there have been lame ones..like laughing shino and all that jazz..but some are very climactic..like kibas long day..i like that one :D

Yup the filler eps are such a drag ....... but some are good .... but this recent one ... abt the 3 tails ... it was the worst .. a 20 episodes drag ....lol

If you are waiting for the Naruto kill pain episode..... You probably should have 2 wait for atleast 1 - 2 yrs :-D :-D

I like some of the fillers, but not all. The Sora filler kinda ticked me off 'cause of his personality, so i stopped watching it. I don't watch the three tails but from the forums it seems that it take forever to end... The filler with Ranmaru and Raiga was good, and the laughing Shino filler was funny.

In fillers, Naruto almost always gets in a fight with some snobby brat and becomes friends with that same brat later, but I still liked a lot of them. The Wannabe Jinchuriki arc however, was the worst filler arc to me because Sora was just so annoying, so I stopped watching it.

Some fillers are good and others aren't so good. It depends on the arc.
