Right now, the official word is-

There aren't any official plans for when the rest of the Naruto Dub is going to air, or where it's going to air. The only official word in the matter is why it would air-

Because we know you want it, and we're doing our ninja best to get it to you.

We'll tell you more the very second we have more to tell. Thanks for your continued support and patience in the matter!

*When we do have something new to tell you, we'll add it to the top and bottom of this topic.

We know everything there is to know about it, and what we don't know we're told whenever one of you guys asks a question on the forum. In regards to the Naruto Dub, this is one of those situations where there really isn't anything to know, because nothing's official. Anything we could tell you before then can and would change until it's made official, which is we in media generally don't until it's set in stone.

It's more towards the truth being boring than secretive, in this case.

Unfortunately, my saying pretty much anything about that jumps over that line of "nothing's official right now." I hope you understand.

There isn't one in the works or anything, but personally, I wouldn't imagine you'd have to wait too much longer for atleast a general status announcement of some kind. That's just me though.

i heard and dont quote me on this but CN isnt going to show Shippuden episodes due to the fact thats its considered to adult/violent, but that really makes no sense, if anything it will continue in boxsets as it has. the funny thing is , is no one is really saying anything about if will actually be dubbed or not. heres hoping

i feel a bit better but i have to agree with a earlier post....I'm going crazy without my weekly Naruto as well. Only a few more episodes i haven't seen....i haven't looked at any of the Japanese episodes :D i don't want to spoil it for myself i want to see them in English the first time i watch them.

well i keep reading everyehwre on the net that shippuden DUB is gonna come out, and airdates will be announced "soon".... ive been on the net for years, waiting for games, movies, now animes as well as i have finished all the completed ones, to come out and i got used to fake dates and stuff....in fact i dont trust even wikipedia anymore.... but my point is that i dont really care for the date right now.....all i need to know is if it's "Officially Confirmed" that there will be a DUB at all.... i really dont mind waiting but i just need to know that it IS in the making...

oh and i know that other guy went to make another topic but could u also give a short answer on the first post of this thread on whether Naruto Episodes 210-220 fall to the shippuden category? its not gonna be the end of the world if they are not cause after 60 fillers it started getting boring.... and ive already watched the last one subbed.....but if there was a dubbed version of those i wouldnt mind watching them as well... anw thanks for the topic

According to my manga, the Shippuden starts at #245 Homecoming (Vol. 28). Vol. 27 was the Kakashi Chronicles (Best ever!!!) and I've been told that was the official 'cut off' in the manga. Not sure about the anime episodes though... Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. (You cannot learn if you're not willing to risk making mistakes...or unwilling to take constructive criticism.)

So there are stories (chapters / episodes) in the Naruto manga that were not included in the anime? Also have you noticed the same thing happening with Shippuden? I don't read the manga so I hate to think I'm missing out on anything with the anime. Thanks for any info you can share.

Actually, if you only read the manga or just wach the anime you're missing out. A lot of episodes were not made into manga. People who do both should notice this to. Anyway, you've basiclly lost out on stickers, bookmarks, and the Kakashi Chronicles( of what I know, since I only have 3 books in the manga) not much really. Accept the Kakashi Chronicles (manga vol. 27, just in case you're wondering :))

Regrettably, all I can say to your questions is that all original Naruto episodes will eventually be on DVD, even the ones that never aired.

If you're only talking about Shippuden, all I can say is we're still hard at work, striving to put out the best quality we can, and of course, we'll make an official announcement when we can. I know that's not what you guys want to hear at this point, but that's all that can be said at the moment. :(

also, i know yall get asked this a lot, hace anyone figured a place to broadcast the new episodes?? if CN wont air them, can't VIZ just do what Funimation did?? they created a YouTube channel and have tons of full length (and even great quality) anime episodes on their channel (i believe over 1500 now), and they're still uploading like crazy lol

TV Guide listings don't really mean much, unfortunately.

The same goes for product listings on Amazon.com, as we usually don't have anything to do with them, nor do the others involved in the episodes/products in question in many cases.

I thought your questions were rhetorical jokes. These questions have been answered throughout this thread many a time. To summarize:

We are not Adult Swim, nor are we Cartoon Network. We haven't, can't and won't force them to do anything, in regards to Naruto or otherwise. As I stated previously, that would be horrifically rude; I'll add that it'd actually be illegal as well.

We're also not a Television Network either. If a network wants to show it, they talk to us and we do our best to make it happen, but we don't have our own TV network to show whatever we'd like. Networks put things on TV for you, we do not. You would have to talk to them about that, should you like to see Naruto on TV.

We understand and appreciate your desire for more Naruto; when there's an official word on when you'll get them, we'll let you know here.

I didn't mean what I wrote as a joke, though I can sympathize with you if you took it that way. I agree that books can be scary :lol:. Wikipedia actually has alot of good resources on it as well, if you're looking for the 'free' route.

You seem to have an understandable misunderstanding about how things work in entertainment media, particularly in regards to contract law and the like; the law doesn't work like many tend to think it does, and I don't mean that as an insult to you by any stretch of the imagination. I know people that've spent 7+ years at the finest Universities in the country that I swear don't get it themselves, despite getting paid for supposedly knowing it like the back of their hand :lol:.

There isn't this one 'rule' or 'excuse' for why we can or cannot do things like stream the dubs on this site whenever we feel like it. We work things out along side a large number of people based on past precedent, both business and legal, and then you end up getting the fruits of that labor when it's finished. You not getting precisely want you desire the second it comes into your mind isn't a result of anyone involved in getting it to you 'making up excuses' or 'slacking off,' believe me. No official word on whether or not they'll air somewhere before the box set drops, unfortunately, but I'd personally imagine they will come out where ever they will this year. When we say things like 'there's nothing set in stone,' however, we don't mean 'there is, but we're not telling you / it's hidden.' If you think of it as a 'decision,' it's a decision that hasn't been made. There's nothing to look up, find, investigate or delve into, because there's just nothing there. You can't and won't get any more information from anyone until everyone involved has turned their key, and not a moment sooner; not all the keys have been turned yet, and that's really all there is to it. You can push against the pyramid all you want, but it's not going to fall, because it's a pyramid, and they don't do that.

As it stands, your "Where's Naruto? ...why? WAAAAAAAAAH!" strategy isn't having any affect on getting you Naruto in the least. Get enough people, make good enough arguments, and things happen; that's a big part of why we don't have slavery any more, and why prohibition ended. Whining about it is a waste of your own valuable time, which you seem bright enough not to want. You can even use this forum to do it, so long as you stay within the rules.

I'm fully confident you seem like the kind of person that can pull this off, if you just used your desire for Naruto to do something worthwhile like this.

FYI: "Where is it? ...why? YOU SUCK!" is not an argument, nor something who you're speaking to will likely remember, if read at all. "Why isn't it filling out your morning blocks? You need the 12-34 demographic, which this show garners. You can't afford not to show Naruto. i agree with you that it's pointless for this to happen now with only 11 episodes left. if anything they should show the last 11 dubbed episodes and then if there is (which there obviously is) a problem with Shippuden being shown dubbed, then do what they have done since January. I just don't like that this happened when a new story arc had started.

I don't mean to start a flame war (assuming this isn't already one" but for someone in college you really do not seem to understand how things work.

In the real world, when 2 or more businesses collaborate, there are times when one is simply waiting for the other, or are waiting for a contract to expire. Commenting on such things are paramount to slander and is a dumb thing to do. Also in getting the dubs released there are at LEAST 5 player involved in the process. Namely The japanese license holders, viz, CN, the FCC, and almost always one other no one can account for.

Firstly, you assume the mods are being told everything, which if Viz is like any other business carefully regulates trade info. Even if the mods knew, for example, CN was going to drop naruto, such info could not be said as it would cause insider trading on the markets which could turn into a monstrous legel cluster....bomb.

If things DID fall apart I am sure the truth will come out quickly as that what companies do when things fall apart.

All viz can do is produce the dubs as quickly as possible (what happened if a Voice actor got cancer for example) dealing with the bumps in the road as they come.

The mods have been very straightforward in saying "We have told you what we can." and you are basically just coming here screaming bout wanting more.

no offense, but why are you being so forceful YES naruto is a great anime, yes id love to watch the rest (reguardless of the fact its filler) but saying it better be out when you expect it to be out, is like saying i better be rich in 1 year while not even holding a job, it just doesnt work out....

instead of expecting them to release the episodes on YOUR time, give them a chance to do a good quality job and release the best eps they can, there is more to life than naruto, and there is tons of great anime to fill the void till it returns.

i dont normally suggest it, because i dislike having to read subs while attempting to get into episodes myself, but if your that anxious to catch the rest of the series, there are 100s of sites dedicated to just that (obviously they break copy right laws so i dont suggest using them for reasons that should be obvious but if not, a major one is respect to the makers of the anime) read the manga, or buy the japanese box sets.... we dont NEED naruto RIGHT NOW, be patient itll return eventually

Look it is not their fault if they show the episodes one per week they will be behind and there will be a long period of waiting for them so if they do most of them now then they won't have to worry about deadlines. But I still want it to air soon.

true but still they are trying the best they can to get the shows out and i know you will say that they are recording the episodes now and i know that but it takes time to do the episodes and they don't want to worry about deadlines so they want to do all the episodes BEFORE they air so we won't have them changing the schedule in the middle of a season.
