Anyone Like Death Note?

I'm a late Death Note watcher. But does anyone here like it? I'm only at episode 30, but I love it. OMG I love L!!! He's an AMAZING character! I was at Hot Topic and I saw these L shirts on sale so I bought two of them and I didn't care that Death Note has been over or anything!

Death Note is 2nd only to Naruto. The 1st half of DN is better than the 2nd half. Light had alot more common sense. L is the best and most of my reason for watching!

Of course! I mean, come on, who doesn't love L?!? Light was crazy, even at the beginning, but at least during the first half, he didn't usually lose his cool.

It's about this guy who finds a notebook that, if you write down a person's name, that person dies. He uses it to kill criminals and create a better world, and he starts thinking of himself as a god. I can't really explain it further without saying any spoilers. It's got tons of plot twists and it's totally awesome. You gotta check it out!

Yep, and i have the Death Note vol. 13, and it said that when after they drew out that scene, many people thought that L was using the Capoeira, a Brazilian fighting style when you use mostly or just your legs.

Having set light's goal to change the world for the better gave a great feeling of hope and accomplishment, while with L who was trying to stop him, gave you a sense of adventure and mystery. With the way light killed using the death note and claimed the innocent as 'sacrafices to the cause' gave him sort of an evil outlook, but that doesn't stop anyone from claiming him to be the right over wrong. in fact, if the world had changed to stop crimes would be a magnificent feat! In a review (off of Death note wikia) it even states that Ohba and Obata even imagined L as 'a little evil'.

Plus when you added a bit of rivalry (Near VS Mello) into the main plot, the series took a dramatic climb. A race to find Kira is never the less exciting. I enjoyed this show because even though it was short, it had good meaning and a lot of things to decipher
it really made me use my head >.<
