Karin and SasuSaku

Let's face it - the majority of Karin haters are fans of the SasuSaku pairing. Since Karin poses a major threat to the pairing in shippuden, it's perfectly logical to hate the character that could thwart it.

But she's becoming less and less of a threat to it as the series continues. She's actually alittle afraid of Sasuke now, because his chakra is so dark now - since his chakra was one of the main reasons why she liked him so much. And Sasuke has never given a hint of interest. The only thing we can say for it is that he didn't want her to burn to death from Amateratsu. That's it. All the rest of the times it has been simply because she is useful for discovering people. That's it.

And in the recent interview with Kishimoto he confirmed that Sakura really does love Sasuke, so SasuSaku still has a chance (I hope). I really don't think Karin will have anything to do with it at all, because Sakura can probably beat her in a straight fight anyway.

So I don't think it's fair to hate Karin because of SasuSaku. Ino likes Sasuke, but she's probably got a better chance with him than Karin does right now, and Sakura remains the highest chance - with the exception of NaruSasu, which actually seems incredibly likely.

I LOVE SasuSaku, and I love Karin. I like Suigetsu X Karin alot more than Sasuke X Karin. If you hate her just because of the pairing, that's ok, but she's really not that big of a threat to it.

i dont hate karin to me shes meh but i do not like sasuke to me no one has a chance with him really i just see him always brushing off a girl i dont think he even thinks about girls i mean he had sakura ino and now karin but he still pushes them away and even now it seems naruto is far from him it just seems to me sasuke is a character who is going into the darkness for all his goals to do one thing destroy konoha. but i think shes useful with her healing, senser abilitys and she seems to be at least agiain useful to sasuke. but i agree that she is getting scaired and he is getting darker so to me shes fine but paring wise sasuke is long gone for any girl the boy needs a family and i think team seven would of replased his family but now it seems that hope is shattered to with all the chapters

so no im not a sasusaku fan or sasukarin fan

he just dosent seem interested in anyone just on his avenge goals

and no not a big threat since sasuke to me is not intrested that includes all his parings

You bring up a very good point about Karin being afraid of Sasuke as of late, Yuuta. However, we'll have to wait if Sakura feels the same way if she meets up with Sasuke. If his dark chakra is that palpable she may be repelled as well. It all boils down to their heavily anticipated meeting.

I guess we'll see in upcoming chapters if Karin's feelings for Sasuke are genuine. I sort of doubt it at this point, but I guess we shouldn't count her out yet. ;)

Very good point, i hated Karin just cuz' i hated her, and i'm not a fan of SasuSaku. I really didn't like team Hebi at all, except Sasuke, and maybe Suigetsu.

I'm a SasuSaku fan, and and I don't really hate Karin for that, she's never been a threat in my mind anyway. What I hate about her is her 12 year old airhead of a mind when she's around Sasuke, it degrades her character and makes her look incredibly stupid, while I know she's not. The only times I like her is when she's around Suigetsu, and she shows her real self to him, not the lovey-dovey awkward girl she is around Sasuke. Another thing that irritates me about her is how useless she is most of the time, she's a failure in the fighting area, even Sakura was not that bad when she was a genin at the begining of the naruto series. The only thing that doesn't make her completely useless is her ability to track people. That ends up saving her ass, literally.

Kishimoto didn't confirmed that Sakura loves Sasuke, what he did was hint that Sakura could still love Sasuke, the "Sakura loves Sasuke" comment was an add-on by the translator.

Karin doesn't really bother me; it's her awkward fangirling that gets me. The way she acted around Sasuke was just too much, even for her. But that just my opinion.

Now, she's getting afraid to even be anywhere near Sasuke, and that's what makes my liking for her go up. I'm not saying that her being away from Sasuke makes me like her, she's now showing us her true self, not the fangirl that steals shirts, and that's what's making me like her. The fangirlism just didn't fit her and I'm glad she's starting to get out of that stage, it just doesn't suit her.

I'm not a SxS fan, and never will be, but even if I was, I still wouldn't hate her. Hating a character over a pairing to me is just an excuse to hate.

I Dislike ~cough~Hate~cough~ karin not because of SASUSAKU (tho i luv them) its because its like masashi kishimoto was tryin to replace sakura with ~cough~Karin~cough~...and she is some1 i hate after just knowing her... like other fans who hate sakura or other certain characters... if they'll give sakura a try... i'll try and give karin a try...

lol, I've hated her nearly all along and it was never because she was a "threat" to SasuSaku. Really, IMO, true SasuSaku fans would realize that she never WAS a threat, because if you understand Sasuke's character at all, you'd know that he'd never develop any romantic interest in her.

Really, I thought most SasuSaku fans don't mind her; generally speaking, at least, of the ones I know.

This is similar to a thread I made about people hating Hinata or Sakura because they supposedly pose a threat to NaruSaku and NaruHina, respectively. This is the same thing, only for Karin and SasuSaku. Like I said on my thread, I think it's pretty ridiculous, and the wrong reason, to hate a character for pairing reasons. If it happens vice versa, well, I guess that's to be expected. But, as can be expected from someone who has a similar thread, I completely agree with Yuuta; it is not fair to hate Karin just because of her supposedly being a threat to SasuSaku.

I really don't know why, but I hated her since I saw her in the manga.
I don't really like her personality, I think that's why.
She cannot be with Sasuke. She doesn't even love him in the right way -and, yes, Sakura does.
I'm a fan of SasuSaku, no matter what!
I hope that we can see more SasuSaku. ;)
