Oooooohhh, this is a good one. I'd have to go with Jugo, simply because his second release's Chakra cannon could probably destroy the majority of the Bracken Dance's bones. That coupled with the fact that he can tank just about anything makes him the perfect match for Kimimaro. He's also the ORIGINAL curse mark bearer, and therefore knows how Kimimaro's own mark works. He can also manipulate his own body to counter Kimimaro's bones, and then some. I also believe he's somewhat faster, and definetly stronger. The battle would last forever, and they'd both be near dead, but Jugo takes the cake in the end.

Yeah, but his stage two isn't as huge of a power boost as Jugo's. In his second release all he did was a few extra dances. Nothing else really happened. However, when Jugo went stage two, he tanked a Raikage punch, fired massive chakra blasts, and demonstrated insane strength/ endurance/ speed.

Nobody said otherwise, so bloodlust is in effect here. Jugo would just punch a hole through Kimi if he spent the time trying to calm him down.

Even if Jugo can break Bracken Dance, he would still get hit initially and without bodies available to repair his wounds, he couldn't fight for long.

But who's to say he gets hit initially? Jugo has some pretty crazy speed, and Braken Dance isn't the fastest technique in the world. He's been around Kimimaro for years, and probably knows his moves. He'd recognize and compensate for Braken Dance. Besides, even if he were hit by the attack, HE TANKED A RAIKAGE ATTACK. Raikage is easily stronger than Kimimaro, tanking Braken Dance wouldn't be that hard for him. Sure it would slow him down, but he'd still be ready to fight.

It depends on where he is hit by Bracken Dance, I suppose. He may have tanked a hit that went clear though his chest, but Raikage's second hit knocked him out cold, even though Jugo was taken by surprise.

How does he hit? Jugo's faster. Kimimaro would just be chasing him around with a giant bone drill. All he needs to do is turn around and shoot a couple chakra blasts at a very surprised Kimimaro and game over.

I don't doubt Jugo at all, those Chakra cannons of his were UBER HAX. This fight would be long and bloody and I will admit that either of them could win. Jugo's ability to tank would make Kimimaro's finger bullets an object of laughter.

Since when does either one of them have superior weight or Taijutstu? Both tank massive hits, can change their body structures, and are Taijutsu pros. I'd say they're about even up until second mark release. At that point Jugo's tanking ability, strength, and speed outstrip Kimi's.

People may argue that he will not start in CS2, but the fact remains he CAN defeat Jugo by doing so.

In any case, Kimimaro has shown slower speed feats, but in combat range, he could easily kill him with anyone of his dances in CS1.

CS2 Kimimaro means GG.

True, he was a beast, but that's not an argument for why he would be able to beat Jugo. Yeah, he may have beaten Gaara and Lee, but that was because neither of them knew that he had the Braken Dance or could survive Giant Sand Burial. Jugo knows about all of Kimimaro's moves, since he's the one who gave them to him.

Once again, the majority of his dances didn't even hit or hurt Lee, let alone Gaara. What makes you think anything short of the Braken Dance would get to Jugo? Even then, Jugo can tank huge amounts of damage, so I doubt Braken Dance will even take him out with one hit. Chakra cannon is strong enough to easily damage Kimimaro just as much as Braken can hurt Jugo, if not more so.

That has nothing to do with this fight. It just means the Kimimaro had earned Jugo's respect and friendship. Doesn't have anything to do with the battle.

feats? did you not read the manga? he can spam bone spikes in CS2, like he did during the Gaara battle.

Jugo would charge at him, and Kimimaro would enter CS2 and impale him with bone spikes.

In CS2 he is untouchable, seeing how he can enter his bones and pop out of them silently for a kill strike.

Jugo is not intelligent, he would charge and die pretty easily.

Actually, Jugo's very intelligent. He just goes a little crazy with bloodlust. xD

Straight up Taijutsu?

If he attacks one of them, he'll be impaled before he can hit it. He's shown the ability to extract bones in literally the blink of an eye. Swinging hard enough to destroy the bone would take longer then that, meaning he'd be torn up pretty easily.

Also, Kimimaro could hop out of another and strike him from behind.

He can only punch one of them at a time. Kimimaro can shoot dozens of bones out faster then you can think to say "wow".

Chakra cannon won't hit them all before he kills Jugo.

Also, judging by his bloodlust, he would indeed charge in at Kimimaro.

If Jugo came near Kimimaro, he could literally twist around and shoot countless amounts of spiked bones out of his body in CS2.

He might be able to punch through some of the bones, but Kimimaro's bone are quoted as being stronger than steel. Kimimaro keeps his cool way better than Jugo though. We don't see Kimimaro laughing maniacally and saying "I'll kill you." I think Kimimaro's control could be what determines this fight.

kk, im not a zombie now. as i recall gaara had tons(literally) of sand bearing down on kimimaru. for about 30 he fought back around three sweeps of sand with his level one curse mark. taking that into account, his speed and tanking abilities. id say that unless his final attack"brackken dance" missed completely, jugo would lose.
