Well I think this thread is about who's better at solving cases, that's what a real detective do. Urameshi can't solve the easiest case there it.

hey,he got the items bvack in the beginning of the sory so he did solve something...but the items were broken

Didn't he already know that Kurama, Hiei and that big guy took it? When solving cases you usually don't know who the suspect is.

Yeah, that's what I meant, solving complicated cases.

Jimmy is his name in the English Version.
In the German one he is also called Shinichi though like in the Japanese.

Phoenix Wright would be a good Nomination as well.

How he planned out everything against Kristoph Gavin was OFF THE HOOK!!
He even managed to proof Miles Edgeworth Innocent of his Fathers Murder eventhough having confessed everything.(Including his Fingerprints on the Gun).
Heck Phoenix even proofed Von Karma of Murder without having Evidence.The same Van Karma who had a 40 Year undefeated Attorney Career.

No way. There's nobody better than L when it comes to the best detective. The only people that even come relatively close is the Detective Conan kid and possibly Sherlock Holmes, but they're still not nearly L's level.

Batman is a Polymath and scientific genius who created highly advanced technology such as Brother Eye, a sentient satellite that nearly took over the world, knows at least 127 forms of martial arts, experienced with all kinds of weapons and even magic and cosmic powers like GL rings, devised plans to take down all the members of the JLA in case they went rogue, many other things that are too numerous to list. He also outsmarted and beat someone who was Immortal.

What did L do? Got outsmarted by a college student lol.
