Reasons why Naruto lost to Sasuke back then

Number 2 and 3 contradict eachother. If Naruto aimed for his headband then he was in control. Yet you say that if the Fox had let Naruto control himself he would have won. So basically, Naruto being a spineless wimp, aimed for the headband instead of the chest and lost because of it. So it was indeed his fault.

I believe if Naruto aimed for Sasuke's chest he would have one, but Sasuke told Naruto that he would not put a scratch to his headband and Naruto wanted to prove him wrong, so in the end he aimed for his headband.

Actually, Naruto was in control when he slashed Sasuke's headband. The Nine Tails wanted to aim for Sasuke's chest.

Why didn't Naruto change into the 2 tailed form consciuosly (I know he didn't know how) but he would still be able to do that since he change into 8 tails against pain so that is what i'm wondering

well I think back then Naruto and Sasuke were evenly matched. Yea, Naruto could've won if he aimed for his chest and not his headband, but Naruto's body was beginning to get numb and very weak from the nine tails chakra, so he probably didn't aim well. Also, Sasuke himself says to Naruto (when they meet again the first time in the shipuuden series) that he only left Naruto passed out and didn't finish him off because he didn't want to gain power by the way Itachi had told him too. However, I think part of it was truly that he didn't have the heart to do that to his best friend. Even so, Naruto was going a tad bit easy on him, same with Sasuke. It one of the most epic fights in the first series though...
