Match tomorrow?

Ill be on my laptop doing homework all day tomorrow, so it would be a good time to fight all those matches I mentioned a few days back.

It hit me just how late I started this game while I was flipping through some of the old threads. I won't be making that same mistake when the next installment of the series comes out :).

Yeah I am hoping that there is a POTN3 so I can actually be in the first line of players. So far every game i've played that has a wifi battling system i've come in after the big start so I play catch up while everyone else has everything figured out. I want to see how high the learning curve is when everyone starts at the same time.

I won't be starting the same time, sadly. I've ALWAYS been the latest one, the weakest one... I can't really get games that often, because what comes outta my dad's mouth is: "You just got a game, spending 50 bucks on it!" That's why I don't have CoNR3 yet.

Sadly, I don't have high hopes for another installment of the series. :???:

Dang, that sucks. My parents don't really care how I spend my money...cuz...well, it's MY money. Ever since I got a job, they just don't care although like 90% of my money goes toward saving up for books and college stuff (and maybe a car one of these days :roll: ) anyway.

But hey, u probly still don't have it that bad. My friend's parents turn off their internet at 9 o'clock and they don't have cable :shock:.

sorry? for what? that was a good match, and my 3rd was screwed either way. I knew that when I moved him up to the front. I just though I'd throw a curveball at u since I called this a high DEF team.

Also, I never have used a stylus, so your chakra builds not being great are only because you're not used to not having one.

I think they make this game more interesting than the creators intended. CLEARLY, offense was given more favor when they were making this game. I know that there is almost no point in going for a full high DEF team like I am, because they are just too darn slow in most cases. Thats why I used Lee and Ino; Lee still had 750 agi, and Ino had 620. Im just trying to offset the horrible AGI somehow.

The thing is, if you get Lee confused you go first more often. That's why Ino was in there. I hate Hinata because I use her healing move, and she wastes bunches of Chakra. I just don't know when to use it, ya know?

I use FSO as soon as I can honestly say that the other two people who are on the field are probably gonna to die before my next turn. Sometimes I even use FSO if I have 200-300 hp left just to make sure I have another turn to attack with. In fact, in our match, Lee was the only one seriously injured by RTD (Ino had like 200 hp and 3rd had like 300 hp Lee had 20, I think :shock:) but I used FSO, and it was a good idea too, because you got the next couple of turns, if im not mistaken.

I was pretty much aiming for Lee and Ino; I knew Hinata wouldn't be a biggie to defeat even with all that DEF. Still, FSO was a threat. I was able to kill 3rd as he moved to the front, but my Lee died being Confused. I was trying to erase the Eight Gates Status on Lee, but Temari never got her chance...

yeah, that was a good match, but that wasn't my true high DEF team, that was the "don't want to move REALLY slow" DEF team. I'm still trying to figure out the combo that best suits how I want to fight. Until recently, I have just been copying people who beat me.

No, that's what I WAS doing until recently. What I did was look at my opponent's team and try (based on their movements) to figure out 1) how they built the character 2) what purpose that character serves in the party 3) what moves/skills does that character possess that makes them worth using.

Right now, I am trying to come up with combinations of my own, that I am not simply copying after having a match with you, Kaz, Phantom, or 3500z. A team that when my opponent looks at the configuration, they can say "Uh oh, that must be Jimboberino" even if I am playing under another name.

You won't learn much from me, especially for Defense Teams... I am simply a Hit, run, heal, hit, run, heal, but that team doesn't do too well for me. I've been meaning to change my tags, but I'm a little too lazy... :lol:

While that is true now that I am fairly well-versed in High AGI attacking squads, I would have learned the value of: Wind Devastation, WOTN, Lee + Tenten, AGI in general, and Leader Bonus from you. However, I already understand the value of these things, so I guess you're still right.

However, there are a few kinks to my system that I am beginning to think there is no way to work around them. At least, not if I want the 3rd Hokage and his shiny leader bonus in my party.

3rd is still good. I would use him as a suicide guy; Moving to the front and Shuriken Shadow Cloning them. If he's still alive, believe it or not, I'd use Enma. It's true. xD

Heck, yeah. Enma is a great summon even if you only use him for Adamantine Prison Walls. On several occasions, i have managed to trap 2 people on the opposing team before Enma died. Also, 3rd in the party just makes sense for a DEF team. his DEF is really high and he can attack well, has hidden leaf shield, lullaby jutsu, and dragon flame bombs w/ nice,pretty professor tag AND will of flame.

I am just saying that there is one... fairly big problem with my party that can only really be solved by moving 3rd out, but it is not a good enough reason to remove him... I think.

Also, how fast is your Lee? I was surprised that since I used all AGI tags, your Lee went first and I just want to make some sense of it.

I'm not really gonna check right now, but I can tell you for sure that the game is random if the speed is similar or the same.

Hehe, you'd like to know that, wouldn't you? In the spirit of learning, I won't tell until after we have had another match. Next time we fight, look closely at what I do (or do NOT do) and who my team members are and you will figure it out fairly quickly.

lol, good match. Like you said, it IS a luck-based team. When ITK got nobody, i knew it was time for offense. That is the team i typically use on pros; I just really like the idea of a good def team. I'm done for now. Good matches.

I hate to be a bringer of bad news, but a Naruto RPG4 has not even come out in Japan yet and probably will never come out.

As you noticed, they are phasing out Naruto RPG's in favor for the Ninja Council Series and also in favor for the Wii & PS3.

Even if a RPG4 does comes out, if the sales are low it will never make it to the U.S.

The odds a RPG4 comes out is 0.001%. Sadly but true! :(
