As all you now the Akatsuki goal is world governation, and I think its a bit lame, most of the villains in the Tv programmes want to rule or destroy the world. If you agree with me try to suggest a most original goal.

its better to controll the world than destroy it because what you will do with a destroyed world??

Yes I was a little disappointed that it is such a cliche goal. At least Orochimaru's goals were more interesting. He wanted revenge on the Leaf Village and was very hateful/bitter against others. I had hoped their goals would be somewhat more insightful or reflect their intelligence, but its simply rule the world, like every other villian. Really it could have been maybe make their own village or something, change the rules of the ninja world, like plunge it into anarchy. Something more defined.

Akatsuki or more specifically Pain don't give a crap about world domination, his goal is peace.
Plus really, probably every single evil goal in literature has been used at least once.
