Starting Distance: 20 meters.

Knowledge: Very basic - what they'd likely know in the Manga: Pain knows Sasori is a Puppet Master who uses poison, and believes him to be stronger than Deidara. Sasori knows Pain is the holder of the Rinnegan and believes him to be the Akatsuki leader.

Mindset: Bloodlusted.

Restrictions: Chibaku Tensei, Chou Shinra Tensei, Gedo Mazo. There's no PNJ, CIS, or PIS. There will be no Prep Time.

Assume that poison would affect all Pain bodies, with the exception of Asura Path.

i say pein wins. he could just use shinra tensei and chop through sasori's puppets. and if sasori attempted to hit him with those tons of poisoned needles, pein has the rinnegan and multiple sets of eyes soo it wouldn't be too hard for him to dodge.

Pain beats Sasori hard.
Why? Pain's Rinnengan can see that Sasori's heart gives him life literally and bansho tenin it and pierce it with a chakra rod.
Won't happen that quick but still Pain wins.

Peins endless Summons could smash Sasoris puppets,once one is poisoned,he could withdraw it and summon another.He has shown to be very fast at summoning,so summoning speed shouldnt be a problem. Asura path could destroy a lot of puppets with explosive projectiles he could also take out quite a few up close. Preta Path can sheild against everyone from Iron Sand or fire jutsu. Human Path may be able to take out a few with taijutsu however it would die first.

In any case,Pein has too many long range lethal moves which would give him the win.

true he would chop right through the puppets but even with many eyes he cant dodge hundreds of needles in every direction he could just blast them away like with the boss toads but with that said i still think pein would win
