Yeah..I went there. I hate most autotune music..it sounds retarded and like some weird robots. Have we really become that lazy that we dont want to make normal songs anymore? I mean T-Pain does it the best..but it dont sound good when Pop or Rock groups do it. The #1 song out right now is Empire state of Mind which has no autotuning in it what so ever.

One more time is epic.. Daft punk is the ancestor of this I think and they are the one to do it well... I mean..now they are everywhere... I love the song of Jay-Z Death of Autotune ^^

Autotune is not even all that. But I do like the Death of the Autotone by Jay-Z and Lil Wayne stold the version as well.

to answer your question, its the robotic voice. Or some effect they give to their voice.. In other words, with this, you don't even need to know how to sing.. That is why everybody put this in their song
