Anyways, I say I don't really need Ultimate Ninja 5.
In case you people haven't noticed, this year will be the last year for the Playstation 2 in USA, for next year they will no further make any more PS2 games. I don't really need UN5, because I already have the game, and I say UN6 is a lot better.

Another made up date!:roll: They said that it was going to be released on November 10-th,but it didn't. Now,they say on December 26-th but it's MADE UP. The game got released in Europe yesterday,and I got it today from a friend that was on a visit there. If you REALLY want to have it,get either Japan or Europe's versions. I fail to understand your logic. I'm getting the EU game since it's the closest that I'll get to a NA game since it will have engish text. I mean last I checked Accel 2 had Japanese voices and text.

I will love for it to come out here in NA. But if it does not, I plan on getting a Swap Magic and import the EU version of it. So either way, I am getting the game. I wish it would come out this year, but it will come out (if it ever does) in March 2010. The Naruto games (Ultimate Ninja) usually are released one per year.

What? I fail to see the logic there. If you can speak/read Japanese then get the Japanese version. If you can't read Japanese then get the EU copy and read the English text while listening to the Japanese voices. 1) Naruto321 - YOu can't just say "Use a Swap Magic" since it's not as simple as just using a Swap Magic. You need to buy a Flip Top as well
2)Kursed Kreature - You don't need to be wealthy if you go online you can buy a Flip Top and Swap Magic together for like 40 bucks at most and then spend 30 Euros (about 30 bucks) for UN5.

3 more days, i'm sure you can handle it, it was killing me waitng for that game to be released after hearing about in September because i wanted to try out Deidara clash of ninja style fighting really badly, i own Ultimate Ninja 4, so i know how he is in ultimate ninja style fighting, but to try him out Clash of ninja style fighting and to be able to team up with my friends instead fighting against them, it was a dream come true, though even though you got three days wait. im pretty sure the suspense will be killing you, lord knows it was bugging me on my final week of the wait, your really close though buds, in three more days, you'll be able to get revolution 3, and use Sai clash of ninja style fighting once you unlock him for 18, 000 at the shop, note that he will not be on sale right away, you must unlock the other characters that are already labeled and on sale at the shop first.

Go to jail for what? The Flip Top is a perfectly legal device. It was originally designed to be used if your PS2's disc tray screws up and you dont want to shell out 300+ for a new PS2. Then people found other uses for it.

Okay. I finally decided to order the mod kit(Swap Magic and the FlipTop) and the EU version of the game. I do not see this game coming to NA and I really want to play the game. Thankfully, I am somewhat mechanically inclined and do know how to use a screwdriver. Plus, I am already watching the episodes on the site and they are the same language set-up as the game (Japanese audio and English text.) The only thing that will be missing in the game is English audio during the battles. If the game does come out in NA, I will buy it. Either way, I will be covered and playing the game.

Well if you use common sense and observe past trends you will come to the same conclusion I have. ANd that conclusion is that UN5 is not coming to the states.

On the other hand you could talk to ShyRse the admin and he'll tell you it's not coming out and he works for Viz.

Thanks, Chaos. I am just making sure that I get the game one way or another. There is a video of the EU gameplay on Youtube (yes, I know the site is not reliable for news but I have gone on there for gameplay videos) and the only thing not translated is the in-battle voices (taunts and grunts.) That is not a major enough problem not to buy it. The only problem people may have is modding the PS2 and buying the kit and screwdriver for it. If anybody needs the #000 Phillips head, I will recommend going to Walgreen's for it. I bought the whole set for $2.00. If there is no Walgreen's need you, Radio Shack is your next best posssibility.

I was just as amazed as you are about that. It is a whole set of seven screwdrivers for electronics (three phillips head (#0, #00, #000) and four slotted (1.6 mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm).) I thought I would have to go to Radio Shack and pay more just for the #000 phillips head.

I have two things of interest to share. The first one is on the Digital Battle website there is someone who is saying that the game will be coming out late December in the NA region. The only problem I have with that is I do not believe that it is true. I have held hope for this game since March and I am tired of hearing random dates being reported without actual proof. The second one (listening Chaos?) is a entry on the GameFAQs forum that states that NA will be importing the EU version in order to change the region coding and release that here. I stated that if the game is coming to NA, it will have English voices and English text. Sorry, for being so late with this post. I have been playing another game in my library (Valkyrie Profile 2), and had a boss fight a few nights ago that took three-and-a-half hours to finish. I fell asleep after that and did not go back to here until today.

I will love for it to come out here in NA. But if it does not, I plan on getting a Swap Magic and import the EU version of it. So either way, I am getting the game. I wish it would come out this year, but it will come out (if it ever does) in March 2010. The Naruto games (Ultimate Ninja) usually are released one per year.

I have a pair of responses to posts that I have seen. My first response is I am not lucky. I am only analyzing the facts that I have seen on whether or not UN5 is coming out in NA and came to the conclusion that I should get at least one version of the game (EU) in case it does not get released in NA. The second response is to the dates of the susposed release in NA. If they are true, should there be some sort of listing or announcement somewhere? Granted, NamcoBandai may make this a quiet release. Still, Viz.com or Naruto.com would definitely have some sort of positive response if that was true.
