Good matches

Played alittle bit over the weekend and got into some really good matches with someone named Naruto. They had like 400+/- win and 99 losses. We played like 5 times without changing teams until my ds died on me. They were very good matches and very close. Every time i think it came down to 1 or 2 characters left standing. So if Naruto comes by this site good matches and I hope to play you again with my best team. I was using my fun team and I think you had some pretty good status effect defense on because i couldn't hit you for anything.

I haven't been playing alot, so I don't know. What's Naruto's team, anyways? Just wondering.

Anyways, it's fun fighting against a Defense-Based squad, especially if it's someone like this. The games are long and fun.

true the longer matches make it much more interesting...um...let me think what was his squad...Lee, ino, 1010 and anbu are coming to mind but I don't think that was it...might have had a 3rd instead of the anbu. nah i can't remember it's been too long ago.

Yeah, that Naruto is pretty good. I fought him a few times over this weekend. All the other 900 Naruto-named people are just posers compared to him.

Hey Jimboberino nice match. lol right down to our last people...I knew i should have used shuriken attack on your 1010 again...with luck it would have hit 4 times and she would have dropped but i tried to out laast...my mistake. Next time we meet hopefully i'll be playing one of my good teams lol...well at least a team with some genin in it. Good match though :) oh but if you put 200IQ on 1010 she can attack from the back row and do the same damage as if she's on the front. So you don't leave her out in the open up top.

... and you DID play me with a good team. I can't seem to beat that one. Although after our first fight, I made significant improvements to my squad AND added a few stat-protecting items. They didnt do me much good, but I guess I am expecting too much from lvl 1 protection.

Regarding the 1st match... I didn't realize I was fighting you!!! I started off not taking the match seriously b/c all I saw when I looked down was TSC's, so I instantly assumed "noob." Yeah, you aren't the only one who messed up in that match. Did you notice I kept my tenten in the front row for 2 turns while she had Ninja IQ on? (Edit: Ah, yeah I went "O SH**" after I did that.) BIG MISTAKE. I thought I was screwed.

Sometimes it might make sense to move a character with IQ200 to the front or middle row so that your entire team is not hit by medium range attacks such as Leafs Hurricane, Frozen Mirrors, or Summon Down the House, etc. When a character with IQ200 is hit in the front row, the DMG taken is the same as if he's in the back. The catch is that if your opponent hit you with Great Wind Blast first, then you're screwed :)

wait the dmg taken is the same as on the back??? I don't think that one is right. I've never seen a difference in dmg if a character has 200iq on them and they are in the front. I'm gonna have to experiment now...

I coulda swore I still took major damage if my dudes were in the front even with IQ200. <.< So if that's true I'd be amazed.

^That would be a yes. But I'm too lazy to dig out my game and find out for myself whether it's true or not. xD I coulda swore you still took more damage in the front. But if what you say is true, IQ200 is about 10x more useful than previously thought. xD Too bad IQ200's usefulness was never a well known fact until the game started going downhill in population.

Now the trick is to getting a turn to USE IQ200. When I was playing around with Shikamaru as my alternate, I used that 8 shadows thing, then IQ200'd my squad. Most use Anbu to do this, but wasting NIN for immobilization techniques are bad... All in all, I don't really play around with IQ200 all that much.
