Itachi v.s. Jiraiya

Who would win in this awesome showdown between Sannin and Uchiha? Jiraiya with his toads, and Itachi with the Mankgeyeko(sp?) Hmmmmmm.... I'm not to sure, I want to say Jiraiya, but Itachi is just as strong, if not stronger.

Itachi believed himself inferior to Jiraiya in episode 84-ish. Itachi's genjutsu would not stop Jiraiya and I think with Sage Mode he can kill him. Think of them as older versions of Naruto vs Sasuke. The general consensus is Naruto can beat Sasuke as of now, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Jiraiya win. But I won't say its impossible that Itachi wins. He could, but I think Jiraiya has the advantages.

Well, Jiraiya stomps because he can summon like all the toads and he's a Sannin, but you shouldn't underestimate Itachi. He's an Uchiha, which has Sharingan written all over it. But, I think Jiraiya takes this one because he could easily wipe out Itachi with Sage Mode. I have to say though, Itachi would put up a good fight.

Ammy can be blocked by a toad (which would be burned but it can still protect Jiraiya), sealed or dodged. Jiraiya can dispel Genjutsu, and for the more powerful Genjutsu like Tsukuyomi he can have a toad dispel it, or break out of it with his willpower, which is probably strong enough since he was able to will himself back to life for a short time. Jiraiya is fast enough to dodge Susano'o's sword while Susano'o takes away Itachi's life force, and Boss Toads would provide good distractions for Sage Mode.

Jiraiya wins,but he certainly doesnt stomp,he would have great difficulty with Itachi,he would probs have to kill some toads so he could defend himself from ammy,susanoo etc like Kuromaki said..And he wouldnt wipe out Itachi with Sage Mode,he would probably give him great difficulty,personally I think Jiraiyas huge amount ofNinjutsu would give him the win.Pein was only able to stop Jiraiyas ninjutsu because he was his student and had seen all Jiraiyas moves before and knew how to stop them.

Itachi wouldnt know how to stop all of Jiraiyas moves,Jiraiya however does have some knowledge of the Uchiha,that along with Jiraiyas huge amount of Jutsu gives him the win I think

i would say itachi would win even jiraya going into sage mode. itachi is very fast based on speed and hand sealing plus he is very good in genjutsu something that jiraya lacks.

jyraya lacks genjutsu but he can esily escape them with his incredible chakra control and sage mode

and itachi wouldent survive the summoning toad boss jutsu

and jyraya is wize and he will not look at his eye or finger

he also have those little toads that can use a strong genjutsu i think equal to tsukiomy

Jirayia has boss summons, extremely fast and nearly indestructible hair manipulation, and Sage Mode.

If Jiraiya hits Itachi with toad Oil there goes his super speed. Any MS abilities require eye contact,

which is what Jiraiya won't allow.

Boss summons and normal ninjutsu should hold Itachi off long enough for Jiraiya to enter SM.

Once he enters it, raw speed and a giant rasengan should end this battle pretty quickly.

If he's caught in Genjutsu, the boss summons simply need to share their chakra with Jiraiya to dispell it.
