Do you agree with Asuma?

Asuma, the man who discovered Shikamaru's high I.Q, had some parting words for Shikamaru that got me thinking. Asuma told Shikamaru, "Shikamaru...You're so smart. You can definitely become Hokage one day....But you're lazy, so you'd probably hate it..". Now I understand that Naruto is the most likely to become the next Hokage, but do you see Shikamaru as a possible candidate? Do you think he would do it? With some of the recent events in the manga, Shikamaru showed that he's putting his lazyness aside, when he told Naruto


"Don't you think it's time for us to be the ones to entrust, rather than to be entrusted? I want to be as awesome as Asuma & Jiraiya."





I'm not saying Shikamaru will become a Hokage, but I think because
of that recent statement, it's more likely than some of us think. Opinions?

I think that is Naruto ever dies later on when he is Hokage mabye or Shikamrua will be leader of ANBA.

I say Naruto needs to mature a little more before I consider him good for the title of Hokage (he still has his hot-headed moments). Until then, I say either Kakashi or Shikamaru are fit for the title at the moment

Shikamaru might be a good hokage, but he would never do the work and lacks enough power to protect the village. He should be an adviser for the next hokage.
