Sakura wins especially in mid-close range. One punch can knock Tenten out.

If filler moves are allowed, then Tenten can win long range since Heavenly Chain of Destruction would be something Sakura couldn't deal with easily.

In canon, Sakura stomps due to the ability to dodge everything Tenten has shown easily.

If filler/non canon is allowed, Tenten might win, I'm not so keen on her abilities though.

Tenten wins. If filler moves are allowed. And at long range. In fillers, etc, Tenten can use close range weapons such as staffs and nunchucks etc to keep Sakura from getting to her. Also, Sakura can't dodge all of Tenten's weapons from her heavenly raze move or something like that.
If Sakura get's close, though, she wins, due to knocking Tenten into next week.
If fillers don't count, I still think Tenten wins at a range.

I think Tenten would have this one as well.

Sakura is a medical ninja...yes, she does have wicked strength, but I honestly don't see much use in strength against a ranged oppent. A medical ninja doesn't have as much combat ability as a kunoichi like Tenten and works best in a squad.

Tenten is an intelligent fighter as well; she would know to avoid Sakura's punch at all costs and to keep it a ranged battle.

Sakura may be a "better" kunoichi (I don't like the term "better," everyone has their purpose), but Tenten would be able to beat her in a one vs one battle.

its a tie...tenten works with team close range...i mean team gai.

I am going to say Sakura wins. With her strength she'll keep Tenten on her toes and plus Sakura can heal herself during the match.
