Well Neji technically should do better I mean he is better than Lee is taijutsu skill yes?
Neji would harm Kimimaro though I think because of the inner chakra attack. Of course then Kimi would go CS1. Thats when problems start.

He was giving Gaara and Lee trouble and could've killed them if he didn't die of plot sickness, Neji wouldn't do any better alone.
