Naruto is older with everyone else everyone is different and had mature.
Naruto had improve and akatsuki makes their move.
Naruto is 13 in the original and in shippuden he is 16.
There are idfferent. They didn't name part 2 of the manga Naruto shippuden and ke[t the name the same but did it different for the anime

There are a bunch of stuff that are different.
1. All of the characters are older, even though some don't look it.
2. All of the characters, or at least most of them, are more powerful in multiple ways
3. Gaara is the newKazekage
4. Most character's costumes change.
5. New jutsus, weapons, and characters are introduced.
I could go on and on, but that's everything I can think of off the top of my head.

There are many difference between. The most obvious ones are:
Everyone becomes older and mature;
Most of the characters have improved their abilities and positions;
Change of clothes; ;
The akatsuki becomes more active in the story.

And in Shippuden the Akatsuki become a main villian, where in the original series, they were just this shadowy organization we didn't know all that much about.

It's the same series, but they divided it in the anime.
