I can't tell if Matsuri is a filler character or not but I am pretty sure she started out as a filler character. Gaara and Matsuri..

Matsuri is Gaara's student.

oh i know who they are now, ok.. me too ani-gaamatsu there is to much of an age gap for me ond other things too. but that is my mane thing with them.

Age has nothing to do with love! ...I still hate the couple.

Just don't judge a couple by their age differences! Judge them by how awful a match they are personality wise!

Matsuri is only one year older than Gaara and as far as im concerned it is the strongest Gaara pairing in the whole manga/anime along with Gaara and Matsuris rival Sari
GaaSari isnt so bad either.

I am just not a fan of GaaMatsu..But I don't mind GaaSari
