What would Batman and the Joker's alignments be?

For those who aren't versed in the topic;

CG and CE respectively.

Batman is CG because he gives no heed to the rules and seeks to only bring justice no matter the cost to himself. Throwing the rules out the window makes him chaos, and what he's doing it for makes him good. He does hold to his own personal beliefs so I can see an arguement for NG, but not for LG. I might give LG a second glance, but I just can't see it myself. He holds to his own personal code, but he's actively breaking the rules that society set for him.

Joker seeks chaos for chaos' sake, not caring who he hurts in the process, and even sometimes spilling blood just because it drives his point home. Seeking chaos makes him chaotic, being willing, and sometimes purposely killing makes him evil. I can't see an arguement for the other alignments for him, unless you want to really try to stand on the thoery that everything he does is to test the 'good' guys on their own words.

Two breeds of chaos, only one has more selfish intent, while the other is willing to suffer to do what he feels is right.

Throw another pair at me, those two were far too easy.

Oh and IMO use this site instead: http://easydamus.com/alignmenttest.html
