Karin seems to have been from the Grass Village, as she particated in the Chunin Exams with the rest of the Konoha 12 and was saved from a bear by Sasuke, thus starting her crush.

Karin's village burned down in a war, and she was able to survive the war because she could sense people coming and ran. Orochimaru later found her, and she joined him to work at his hideouts and assist with his experiments (even the one on Suigetsu).

Karin's the sensory shinobi for Sasuke's Team Taka, and has a huge crush on Sasuke. She argues with Suigetsu frequently.
Her hobby is collecting perfumes, and she wishes to fight Suigetsu.

Yeah, but I think Madara will have to let them out eventually, so they can regroup with Suigetsu and Jugo eventually - if Suigetsu and Jugo get past the samurai, that is. :|
And I really hope she'll be alright - I think Kishi likes turnarounds and underdogs better, so I think Karin will end up pulling out some kind of jutsu to hold her own. :D

I just thought about this - Karin's ultimate jutsu in accel 3 actually makes sense! It would give her the advantage! :D

If she's not fighting someone with a dojutsu that can see through her smoke bomb (Byakugan), then it would give her the advantage. Even another sensory ninja (Like Kiba or Shi) might not realize in time, and by the time they realize what to do the paper bombs have already been thrown!

I love it! Yay for video game jutsu! If only she would do that in the anime or manga! :D

You know who's most likely to hate her? Fans of the SasuSaku pairing, because she poses a major threat and the knee-jerk reaction for those who can't be rational is to hate the character who threatens his/her favourite pairing.

The problem is that since her debut Karin has been over-stigmatized as a rabid fangirl due to her earlier behaviour. Even now that she is showing that she truly cares about Sasuke, like Sakura, it's not enough to change popular opinion. Fans can be very condemning. For example, many still call Sakura weak because of her role in Part I even though clearly she is not anymore.

I 'm more neutral, but I kind of like her. She has the ability to sense chakra signatures without chakra and has an interesting healing ability without actually being a medic-nin. She has also proven to be intelligent and highly analytical, whether fans like it or not.

You know who's most likely to hate her? Fans of the SasuSaku pairing, because she poses a major threat and the knee-jerk reaction for those who can't be rational is to hate the character who threatens his/her favourite pairing.

The problem is that since her debut Karin has been over-stigmatized as a rabid fangirl due to her earlier behaviour. Even now that she is showing that she truly cares about Sasuke, like Sakura, it's not enough to change popular opinion. Fans can be very condemning. For example, many still call Sakura weak because of her role in Part I even though clearly she is not anymore.

I 'm more neutral, but I kind of like her. She has the ability to sense chakra signatures without chakra and has an interesting healing ability without actually being a medic-nin. She has also proven to be intelligent and highly analytical, whether fans like it or not.

I think it's sad that no one's giving her another chance, even though she's doing alot to help Sasuke out. Fans condemn her too quickly.

She's pretty fast, uses kicks and slaps alot, and has alot of combos. She can turn herself invisible, stomp on people, and use her sensing to find her enemy in smoke and blow them up with paper bombs.

Personally, we don't even know if she knows basic Medical Ninjustu. Probably not.

Her chakra heals her allies when they suck it out of her. It's a jutsu, nevetheless, and frankly, I think it's alittle better than Medical Ninjustu. It would have taken Sakura quite awhile to heal all of Sasuke's wounds, but Karin healed them instantly. :p

I don't think it matters that she doesn't know Medical Ninjutsu, she has a pretty effective healing move, and that's all that matters. :D
