Pre Sakura(In Chunin exams) vs Kin

Sakura in part 1,I will admit ,was pretty darn useless,however I also think that Kin is terrible too.Almost as terrible as Karin in fact(Aaaaalmost)
Rules
-They're fighting in the tower of death arena

-neither know each others skills

-sakura has two large kunai,three small ones,three shuriken and an exploding tag.

-Kin has 10 needles ,1 string wire and a bell

Call me insane but I vote Sakura,Kin isnt very durable,as shown when she got knocked out by a single one of Zakus slicing sound waves(a weaker version of it),If Sakura did her clone trick that she did on Ino, she would send Kin flying,Sakura showed better taijutsu than Kin(which wasnt even that great),so i dont think Kin would have time to use her jutsu.And Sakura took a load of attacks from ino for about 10 minutes so im positive she could take weaker attacks from Kin.

Im probably over rating pre Sakura here lol

This is probably a better debate than you think it is.
From what we saw of Kin, yes, I'd have to agree that she was pretty awful. When you look at their durability, Sakura was hit a few times by the slicing sound waves and was never completely knocked away like Kin was. When you also take into effect that Kin used genjutsu primarily to make people easier targets for her senbon, it gives Sakura and even better chance. Sakura's managed to release almost every genjutsu placed on her due to her 'affinity', so I think it would render Kin's jutsu useless. But Kin was also 'skilled' with senbon, and Sakura's dodging skills were not that great - but Kin did seem surprised when Sakura subsituted, so I'd say her comprehension is not that great, and Sakura is book smart at least.
*So...In Taijutsu, I say Sakura wins. Her subsitution, plus solid chakra controlled attacks, like she did against Ino. Kin might give her a tough time if she hits a vital spot, but, I'm taking Sakura's subsitution (her favorite jutsu in part 1, lol) over that.
*I don't think Kin's Genjutsu will work on Sakura.
*I think Sakura's smarter than Kin.
So, on the whole, I'm saying Sakura wins this match. Wow, I didn't think that was possible in part 1, lol.

I'd say Kin wins this.

Shikamaru got caught in Kin's bell, needle, wire trick so why wouldn't Sakura? Plus Sakura is slower, less intelligent when it comes to combat, and can't do anything about the wires once she gets caught. From there, Kin easily kills her.

true but Shiki isnt the taijutsu type,Sakura showed better taijutsu than him, Shiki likes to sit and think about a strategy to beat his opponents rather than run into battle throwing fists at them.And Kins genjutsu wouldnt work on Sakura as she could just use Genjutsu:Release to stop the jutsu from working, Shiki got hit by the needles cus he stood still using Shadow Possesion,Sakura would run up close and attack Kin,she wouldnt have time to throw them at her.

Kin hasnt shown any jutsu apart from Bell Illusion Jutsu,which wouldnt work so..

Where has Sakura shown good taijutsu, hitting Ino with a clone feint and a shunshin is no major feat since Ino stinks at taijutsu as well. Sakura isn't that fast either. Honestly, look at what she did with Zaku. She threw shurikens, spammed Substitution, and BIT him. If Zaku was serious he would've killed her really easily but plot kept Sakura alive.

Doesn't matter if genjutsu doesn't work, once Sakura gets caught in wires it's over, she's vulnerable to pretty much anything Kin wants. Kin can trap her in wire and then spam senbons until Sakura dies. Her durability sucks, if Haku could get Sasuke near death with senbon alone, Sakura would easily die by Kin's hands.

And the genjutsu was only in the anime, the manga simply had Kin fool Shikamaru and trap him with thread and spam weapons at him. Shika only got out because of Shadow Possession.

If you think that Sakura's gonna punch Kin to victory, you really overrate her. Pre Sakura's probably the weakest Naruto character with a role in the story. Yes, even Kin is stronger, but not by much.

I don't know enough about Kin's abilities to accurately guess this, but I think Kin would win. All Kin showed during her time in the manga was her needles (I think), and the only jutsu Sakura had was the Clone technique. I don't think Sakura had the strength or the speed to avoid Kin's needles or land a punch on her. People keep on saying she could take being hit by the needles becuase she took Ino's punches for ten minutes, or becuase she stayed concious through a few of Dosu's sound techniques. However, there is a big difference between getting punched and getting stabbed by a needle. Just becuase she could take a punch and keep on fighting doesn't mean she would be able just keep fighting after having several needles driven an inch or two into her body. Also, whether Dosu knocked them out or not is irrelevent in this fight. Who's to say he didn't use it on a stronger level when he attacked Kin than when he attacked Sakura? Sakura loses this. *runs away before the Sakura-lovers can tell him he's a flaming idiot for think Sakura could possibly lose a fight*

um ok,but just so I clear things up,pre Sakura does not have good taijutsu!!!I just mean she showed better taijutsu than Shiki because he never showed any.And i havent read the manga so im basing it on anime,i prefer anime tbh.

and I dont think im over rating her,had Sakura been in perfect condition in the forest of death,and had she been only fighting Kin Id say she would have won,I know she was only using crappy clones and substitutions but I think that was enough to beat Kin,if she had landed on Kin and shoved the kunai in her arm,then punched her away ,Kin would probs get knocked out :/ im srry if u think im totally over rating Sakura its just I dont see that Kin could do anything to Sakura that deal major damage,Sakura will last longer too.Needles are no good on a moving target(unless your Tenten : P). Sakura had very little strength and wasnt really in any condition to fight anyway,thats why she bit Zaku,because she hadnt the strength left to punch him away.

Shika's not a taijutsu type so it doesn't matter. And just because you like the anime better doesn't mean anything.

Sakura was at perfect condition, Naruto and Sasuke were fighting their butts off against Orochimaru and Sakura sat there. The only thing Sakura did before that was take one genjutsu and even then that wasn't physical injury, and Sasuke snapped her out of it so she was just fine.

Sakura is not fast enough to land a good kunai stab on Kin without getting stabbed and/or wired herself.

I don't know where you're getting this "She wasn't in perfect condition" junk from, it's not like she even did any fighting in the series up until then.

Um Orochimaru made the big wind blast thing?which sent her,Naruto and Sasuke flying maybe?Even Lee said "it looks like Sakura is in no condition to fight,I will have to protect her" ,so please think before u call my posts "junk" .
