For me the death of Jiraiay was so emotional, painful but full of glory and wisdom
Only in the last moment he realized the true thing that he had to do and did it
What a great true lesson for everyone who thinks that it`s over
It`s only the last key that may open the door
It`s never too late to do the right thing
And despite the pain and disappointment, as long as you are alive never give up

Yeah, I liked how he died to. It's sad though. I really wanted to know about the truth of Nagato :(... anyway, have you noticed that everyone's teacher's are dieing? Sasuke - Orochimaru, Naruto - Jariya, Shikimaru - Asuma... Next is probably Sakura, and I assume you know the rest.

yes as if their role ends when their students are ready to finish what they have started, in case of Jiraya his death was a value by it self, he thought he died for nothing but then realized the value of his death, or this hat i have understood.
