Even I have to say that I think Sakura wasn't being fully honest. I could tell by her expressions, her body language, and the fact that she kept saying "That's all" at the end of her sentences. Plus, I think she was mainly doing it so it'd be easier to convince Naruto to stop chasing after Sasuke...


And I'm also morely angry that not only were the spoilers true, but there like 2 pages of nothing happening for Kisame vs KB :evil:

Long story: It's extremely ambiguous, and Kakashi seems to know what's going on (blasted Sharingan! lol). I think that what she was telling Naruto was sincere except for when it came so Sasuke. I have a feeling that there's more being set into motion than we can suspect, but are going to be facepalming all of next week when we finally get it and think "Oh, DUH!". Anyways, I don't see it as negative towards NaruSaku, but it isn't a complete positive either.

tl;dr version: It's too early to comment on it as a positive or a negative; we'll have to wait until at least next week before we get something conclusive.

She's telling the truth about loving Naruto, but lying about not loving Sasuke anymore, she has feelings for both. Also, she trying to use both their feelings to persuade Naruto to not chase after Sasuke anymore instead of telling the truth about the group's decision to kill Sasuke. I understand what Kishimoto is trying to do, the same reason why Sai ask Naruto why he doesn't tell Sakura his feelings & Naruto respond he has to bring Sasuke back first, the fact is he has to keep his promise first & bring Sasuke back, if Naruto accepts Sakura now, he would be the rebound guy. Sasuke & Naruto both have to be back in the village, then Sakura can see who she actually loves. This makes Hinata irrelevant now because the pairings now are ultimately determine by what happens with Naruto, Sakura, & Sasuke.

When Naruto said, "I hate peope who lie to themselves" it gave me hope that he wouldn't accept Sakura's "confession" and that he would go after Hinata instead. (Not a NaruSaku fan)

Even if they do end up together, I'm happy with it. It was a good chapter.

I'm happy with that 'confession' and what Naruto said at the end because i'm a Naruhina fan. Did you see poor Lee? He was so sad :'(

I am a SasuSaku, NaruHina fan before a NaruSaku fan(though I wouldn't hate it if it happens, I'd just be disatisfied), but I like how Kishi is keeping things open. IMO, he might have felt that by making it seem like NaruSaku wasn't a 'definate' thing(even if it happens eventually), that he would be able to keep things moving and developing without people sticking on the 'romance'. He may have realized(or his editors suggested) that it's was so built up that something had to happen, if he suddenly ignored it and just attmpted to make the plot moving w/o adressing it, there might be backlash. So instead, when the moment came that people were expecting it to be a deinate NaruSaku on definate not NaruSaku moment, he made it ambiguous so the relationship side of things still has time to develop w/the story.

That was kind of a tangent... lol may bad ^___^

I would say that chapter disgusted me... Sakura's looooong confession made me feel embarrassed. it seems almost as if it is OTC.

I think that she truly loves Naruto but still cares for Sasuke. Naruto is used to her being so aggresive and now he is confussed.

Unlike a lot of people in this topic,I'm going to post something from an unbiased perspective(thanks to those who did the same)

This chapter,at first I was so excited(I am a NaruSaku fan,but this is unbiased I swear) then it kept going and I knew she was lying a little. I agree that she does feel for Naruto,but she still feels for Sasuke too. I don't know what she'll do,I honestly hope that she and Naruto end up together. She seems kinda confused,she's always liked Sasuke,but she's been developing obvious feelings for Naruto. So she basically stretched the truth,so she wasn't lying,just stretching the truth a bit.
