Zabuza will just have to hold Hidan in the water prison thing and cut off Hidan's head while he's trapped.

It's called the guillotine sword for a reason, you know? One swing, and Hidan lost a whole lot more than just the battle. Like Kuromaki said, any water jutsu would wash away Hidan's ritual sign. Water Prison works very well.

I win, due to my Demon like status. xDD
But yeah. Water washes away blood, and with Hidden Mist, he can totally avoid getting cut. Plus, silent kill wouldn't work, but if he cut tendons, Hidan can't move.

The Demon Zabuza pwns. His water jutsu could wash away the blood, thus cancelling Hidan's ritual, and from there on, Zabuza has the advantage.

It depends if Zabuza is fast enough. He was getting pwned when he fought pre-skip Kakashi the second time, while Hidan was keeping post-skip Kakashi on the defensive, albeit with help from Kakuzu's beast.
I guess with Hidden mist it's possible. Zabuza has to cut off his head, and if he doesn't know that and just slits his throat Hidan could sneak attack and do major damage.
This is a close battle to me, Zabuza has a SLIGHT advantage IMO if he knows what he's up against.

Zab destroys this guy.
Easy mist jutsu, and one slash wouldn't wound Hidan.. It would completely decimate his entire body structure.
And I definitely don't see Hidan dodging Water Dragon.

Zabuza doesn't have that huge blade to slit throats. He would swing full force if he has the chance, and cut Hidan in half.

That blade would literally probably slash through Hidan's weapons.. or just cut the rope cord connecting to it.
Not that It would come to that.
Hidden Mist would finish the deal from the start.

Yes, Hidan CAN die. If Hidan is rendered unable to kill for a certain period of time then he dies since his religion grants him immortality. Also, Zabuza can simply cut off Hidan's head and Hidan can't fight back, giving Zabuza the victory by incapacitating Hidan.
