Wait that was with them in there prime?
from what we see Gambunta and the other summons were very small compared to today, and since the summons are supposed to grow with the summoner i would say he died while in prime.
We also didn't know if he knew Gaint rasengon or SM mode back then, but still

Pain was able To out Hanzo single handed from what i recall was told and Naruto almost was able to take-out Pain by himself and If you put Naruto Vs Sasuke id say there just about equal. Sooo I think Sasuke will win With Susanoo and Amatersu and his great speed but i could only be Guessing since, not much is known about Hanzo.

Naruto won with prep time and plot, and he also had the Toads on his side. In a fair fight, Pain would stomp him.

Very true, without Naruto preparing He would be stomped by both Sasuke and like you said Pain, And well im not gonna go in too Sasuke Vs Naruto but yea if Sasuke is a bit weaker i believe he still should be able to Take-out Hanzo.

We don't even know any of his moves lol. The only info we have about him is that he beat 3 sannins lol.

And it was a whilllleeee ago. The 3 sannins might not have been THAT strong at the time at all. Orochimaru for example Full health, would probably be ten times as strong as his prime time him. Same with Jirai, and tsunade. [And pain could beat both hanzo, and jiraiya. And naruto beat him (Although I know hes probably not near Pain's level without prep]

If the sasuke now is stronger then those primes... Pff, I Guess not but it would probably still be a close fight. I don't really know how powerfull they exactly were back then, and Sasuke / naruto are pretty damn powerfull even though naruto is prob a bit stronger now.

He won easily.Hence that he didnt have a scratch nor was out of air while the Sannins were dead beat.

He just needs his Exploding Tag techniques really.
