Byakugan.....again

We all know that the byakugan has teloscopic 360 degree x ray vision but can it also read minds, see opponents no matter how fast they are going, see through genjutsu, and see things slower than they appear to people (like a sharingan 2 and a half tomoe).

Speed Debaters: Read naruto manga 85 pages 18 and 19 ( No one besides Gai, Kakashi, and the 3rd should be able to see Lee but why is Neji able to)

See people slower: This ties in with the speed thing. I think all byakugan people see things slower and when the do certain moves [64 palms; 128 palms they appear even slower which is why says its over once there in range]

See through genjutsu: This is the most current one. Read naruto manga page 15

Mind reader: Its called observation, Neji is very observant that is the reason he is able to deduce his opponent's mental status. Even normal humans like ourselves are able to do it, if we observe someone's subconscious actions.

Speed thing: Neji is amazed at how fast Lee can move, Lee is moving so fast that Neji CAN'T see him. Only Kakashi is able to because of the Sharingan.

Slow thing: During 128 palms, Neji moves so fast that they show it in slow motion because of the speed. Nothing more than that.

Neji was looking at lee, for his chakra. Lee's chakra increases exponentially when the Gates are unlocked...
He looked at Lee for his chakra levels....to see if any change occurred within them...........

The genjutsu thing, Byakugan allows them to see chakra so if the chakra points within the Brain are disturbed, then its easy to understand that the person is under a Gen. But it won't help break from it or anything, just shows that the person is under Gen. It can't be used on yourself either..

you just countered yourself...you previously stated that Neji didn't see Lee and now you are telling me that Neji saw Lee.

Then how come he said he saw through the genjutsu????Also how did Ao break out of the genjutsu before???

ao simply used a repelling technique like the one used by kakashi, gai and sakura in Part I when Kabuto put the arena to sleep during sasuke and gaara's match.

the byakugan may have helped see the oponents chakra so that he knew when to rupture the genjutsu.(just picking at straws here)

I think the byakugan can still slow down movements slightly (like sharingan with 2 and half tomoe) when kido threw the kunai at Neji it did look like things were slightly.

That is merely speculation on your part. There is no official refernce to it in the manga or in the databooks.

I'm gonna have to disagree. If you read the Manga the sharingan is getting spammed to the max. There needs to be a power up for the byakugan to be able to compete with sharingan.

Actualy I remember Kakashi saying that when well used Buyakugan was more powerful than Sharingan. I hate it when the creators of a series make a statement and then forget all about it, going against it.
