Kabuto is better in taijutsu, and is very fast. Much faster than Kankuro. Using chakra scalpel, he could destroy any of the body parts of Crow or Black Ant that Kankuro sends at him. Plus, Kabuto is a medical ninja, so any non-serious injuries he sustains can be healed with little dificulty. If he's hit with poison gas, he can run out of it. If he successfully manages to sever the chakra strings to any of his puppets, he can destroy the puppet before Kankuro can re-attach them. Sasori's move would be tricky to dodge, but with Kabuto's speed he can surely evade the kunai. He defeated a wood style clone of Sasori's Hiruko form. If he can do that, he can destroy Salamander's defenses with ease. Kabuto wins in almost every scenario of this fight.

That puppet has been changed since its last appearance and it has only shown the Machinery Triangles, that's not proving how he can stomp Kabuto.

That's not a good enough reason, Sasori's greatest power was his Third Kazekage, plus the only move we've even SEEN from Sasori puppet was something Kabuto could either dodge easily or tank with regeneration.

Kabuto wins. He's faster than Kankuro. As mentioned before, his Chakra Scalpel can probably cut through Puppet Strings as well as severely damage Kankuro. Also he can heal any wounds if he gets any. I dont think Kankuro has a Genjutsu resist, so Temple of Nirvana might get him.

Your right, Kankuro is uber powerful now because of Sasori being his puppet. But we can't assume it's abilities other then fire, and water. Kabuto can easily dodge both.

You can't just assume Sasori has everything he once did. He's only shown one thing, you can't just assume that he has all his former abilities. His harpoon and his wing blades were removed, and he most certainly can't control his other 298 puppets if he's dead. Kankuro can't control that many puppets.

You're a Kankuro fan, that's the ONLY reason you're backing him up so much. Personally, I don't think he's Sasori level. He doesn't have TK, he's not as experienced, and has only shown use of 3 puppets at a time, compared to 100. And honestly now, most of his puppets weren't so powerful. You can't just make up stuff about Kankuro because you like him, otherwise the debate is redundant and it becomes opinion-based crap.
