in the TV show he always avoid killing peoples unless very necessary so i think this is a message that he is really good inside and yes he will come back but not simply something huge will happens first

well if you read the manga you'll think diferently,he is starting to become more evil and taking down anyone who gets in his way

if he were doing that naruto sakura and sai would be dead by now....he actually is avoiding killing people if nessecary hes killed itachi and now he wants danzo dead for what he made itachi do once danzos dead then he has to do something about madara and i think he and naruto team up against him and stop him then sasuke returns to the village, but thats just my oppionion

sorry but i am not reading the manga regularly, but in few events in the show he asks his team not to kill any one, i read the manga for these events and there was no such think ( for example when he asked Karin to join them she had flash back and remembered how Sasuke retrieved the prisinor without the intention to kill any one but in the manga there is no such flash back )

The only reason why he would come back is because he wants to kill certain people like Donzo, and the other people who ordered the Uchiha clan to be destroyed, and he wants to do that because he wants to obviously avenge his brother and clan. I really don't want him to come back anyways because in my eyes he is a traitor for leaving and being power hungry.
