Team Hyuga vs Team Sand

Location: Sunagakure, 100 Meters apart.

State of Mind- Gai is bloodlusted, while his team is calm. Team sand is normal SoM.

Anyway, I say that the Sand could take this. Gaara can catch Gai before he opens gates. He only does it as a last resort, and since they aren't bloodlusted, Gaara catches him fast enough.

Temari could hold back Lee and Neji, even if it does take a while. Sakura would heal anyone that gets hurt, and smack anyone who is stupid enough to get close.

Also, Gaara could just put them all behind a hench shield, and then Sand Tsuanmi.

I suppose it'll be Sunagakure, and the only person bloodlusted is Gai. Everyone else on his team is calm, and team Sand is normal.

If it is Sunakgure, Gaara rapes.

When he is there, and both teams start on the ground, very few people can beat him. Since they are standing on sand, he can crush their legs before they do anything, and then their entire body. Even with gates, Gai couldn't open them that fast, and couldn't survive continual crushings. Lee couldn't. Not to mention that he has a ton of sand for defense, or Sand Tsunami if it comes to it.

The others aren't really needed.

But Gai can go Gates in 5 seconds MAX, and he's bloodlusted.
Even in Suna, he could beat Gaara's sand (Momentarily anyway), but Team Sand still takes it.

With his Ultimate Defence, not even Base Guy can beat it without difficulty especially not in Sunagakure. He can also use this to protect his team. Shown before, Temari's fan has the strength to block Lee's attack I believe, and Lee hasn't shown much improvements, so Iron Fan could block Taijutsu.

Temari's Wind Sythe attacks would also cut and damage Team Hyuuga. It has a pretty big AoE, so I don't think Team Hyuuga has time to run away from it. 100m also gives Team Sand an advantage, both having long and short range fighers. Gaara has improved more than any of them so he would easily get the better of them. Sakura can heal, but despite her abilities, she'd get stomped. But Gaara and Temari could probably handle it.

Neji can't probably even get close to them. Temari could just blow him away and Gaara can float on Sand. If he does, none of them can reach him. Plus his Sand has shown to be really fast so it can keep up with Lee and Guy.

I completely agree, Gaara's sand is faster since the Chunin exam. Since Gaara's sand is fast enough to even block ammy, Gai shouldn't be able to hit Gaara either.

I completely agree, Gaara's sand is faster since the Chunin exam. Since Gaara's sand is fast enough to even block ammy, Gai shouldn't be able to hit Gaara either.

Team Gaara roflstomps, with the immense amounts of sand Gaara could protect his team and attack, and Temari's fan can not only block Lee's Taijutsu like in Chapter 74, she can also blow gusts of wind to keep the rest away.

I know this match is a very good advantage for team Garra being in the Sunagakura but I think people are over looking some facts about the match up. They're 100m away even with Garra's sand speed which really hasn't been shown to be any faster then when he fought Deidara. If Gai's bloodlusted he'd be going straight into gates and he'd be able to open at least 3 well before his sand got there possibly all 6. Gai in 6th gate would be able to cover 400m+ in a second there's no way Garra's sand or even Temari's wind is keeping up with that.

Also going by the damage Lee did to the chunin exam stadium from just running while in 4th gate Gai should be able to make it through the sand wall with little problem and take Garra down.

Another thing being over looked is that Lee would probly open up the gates the second he sees Gai doing it. If his great master deems the situation nessicary to do so he'd give him the ok too. So Lee would make it into at least 3rd gate before the sand reaches their team too. If he's in 3rd gate he'd be moving too fast for the sand and would be able to maul Temari to pieces. Also if Gai were to need help with Garra Lee showed he could open more gates inbetween hits during the chunin exam match so 1 - 2 hits on Temari would let him go all the way into 5th gate and she'd be out then he'd be able to go at Garra as well.

With all the gates going on around Neji would be able to get to Sakura and from what we've seen he should be able to take her down in a taijutsu match. Esspecially since the other two team members would be tied up.

I'm not sure this match would be insane but with the distance at the begining I think they'd have time to open the gates up and take Garra down. After him the other two would fall pretty easily.

You are forgetting one thing.

In Sunakgure, sand is all around, lying on the floor. Gaara's sand would not need to reach them, since there is sand right next to them. He can just use that.

It's kinda hard to say Garra would be able to judge the distance that perfectly when the other team would be about 5 inches tall from his perspective. Also Neji has the ability to keep the sand from engulfing them for that small amount of time with either his gentle fist hits to break the chakra or his wind palm to just blow it off.
