If your pokemon is maxed in happiness, you can go to a house kinda near to Celestic town (on the right) where a woman will teach it for you. You need defog and rockclimb. If you keep going right from Celestic town, you'll reach a place where you can use rock climb and go down and then use it and go back up after walking like two paces or something. Then, you'll see a house and she's in there. Sorry, I give bad directions.

I think the best place is Route 223 & Sunyshore City while surfing. Tentacruel there give 2 SD EV and have a 60% encounter rate.


On a side note, AR for DSi discussion: do you guys think that the DSi's ability to have its firmwire updated will present an issue for the new AR that's being made for the DSi? It seems this may cause an AR that works before an update to stop working afterwards. I don't use it, as you people know, I was just interested.

Yea, the DSi rocks. It has a camera and a bunch of cool camera-y features. You can record stuff and put music on there with an SD card and listen to it. It supports a bunch of different internet security types too. :3

Ah, okay. I personally like to go for a mix in most of my pokemon. Basically because it gives you a larger variety to choose from, and helps you take out pokemon with higher SD than D or higher D than SD because you have some of both.

On second thought, after looking over some information on Mothim, it seems that most attacks that are useful on it are indeed special, so I do agree with you now. (Sorry, I've never dealt with a Mothim before.) I personally suggest:

Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Energy Ball
Shadow Ball

Get yourself a Dark type to switch in and take the Psychics, as they're immune. I suggest...Umbreon! xD

I really don't see the point of Substitute. It takes 25% of your health and blocks attacks. So, if the attack is going to take more than 25% of your health, it breaks and leaves you basically having used a protect with a recoil. I really don't see it blocking that many attacks, maybe a few. Maybe I'm just stupid and don't understand its uses.

Why don't you just choose a well rounded team with good stats? Sableyes are one of my favorites. They're way too under appreciated. They have no weakness, and three types don't even work on them. They have somewhat low stats but can be EV trained, sooooo...
