It would be cool for Kakashi to be Hokage, but he isn't as strong as a hokage should be. Kakashi would never be able to defeat an Akatsuki on his own nor would he be able to touch Orochimaru (like the third did). He has the brains and the level head for the job but i don't think he has the strength in terms of what Hokage should be.

Which is why i was like What the hell is Danzo doing as Hokage?
