yeah, if Kirin couldn't break it, neither could a SM Rasen-shuriken. Susano'o is basically an ultimate defense until the user is exsausted of there chakra.

That's true, SS'o really isn't complete like IS'o so if you look at it that way, SS'o could atleast be damaged by SM RS

i think at this point, since sasuke is now able to use susanoo, naruto needs to learn another more powerful jutsu. i mean, sure the rasenshuriken was great and all but i don't think it's going to cut it against sasuke's sharingan techniques. hopefully, the power itachi gave naruto will be epic. also, i heard a rumor that kishi might give naruto a kekkei genkai sooo if he does then i hope it'll be something good to rival susanoo!!

I'm really not sure. Sasanoo is an amazing defense. But Sage Mode Rasenshuriken is really powerful. I get the feeling that we may find out eventually. These are Naruto's and Sasuke's greatest powers, so i'm sure the attacks will collide if Naruto and Sasuke fight again. Only then will we truly find out which is better.

actually.. he seems to totally spam Susanoo now that he can do it. It seems to be a byproduct of his hatred. Whenever he drinks the hatorade out pops Susanoo. :)

The only reason sasukes susanno was damaged is because he hadnt mastered it fully, but against kakashi he had the completed version

Sasuke's abilities with the MS keep getting more and more powerful so I think after what happened a few chapters ago involving Itachi it will be even more powerful, so I doubt it.

Sasuke's Susano'o before the fight against Kakashi could be broken by RasenShuriken, as it wasn't extremely strong defensively. It could block some good things, but it wasn't as strong as Itachi's.

But during the fight with Kakashi, before Sasuke reached his limit we saw a full skeleton of Susano'o, as well as that wierd cloak thingy that Itachi's Susano'o had (Chapter 484, p. 9) so it's probably safe to say that when Sasuke comes back with EMS and full chakra, he'll probably have a Susano'o that uses the Totsuka Sword and the Mirror of Yata. If so, nothing can break through that, not with the Mirror of Yata.

Hello every1 , hmm.. ur missing a huge point on that fight , .. we all know that rasenshuriken needs long time to be prepared and rdy for atk , and that this atk is wind type atk ... and also , this atk is a close range atk ...also R.S takes a huge amount of energy ,R.S is also a skill wr the char. needs to move from far range to close range , in order to be used properly avoiding being hit while trying to use it ...................................

naw if we look on the sasunoo , . sasunoo is a close range and far range atk , and sasunoo is not an armer , its a skill so , if it happen to had proke , it could be reformed , and we all know 1 thing , sasunoo is not like any armer its a black fire armer , which uses black fire as an atk , .. also sasunoo had defnded agnst liger bonb and kiri , and dont forget that sasunoo can reflect skills ..... and when a person is using sasunoo , he can use other skills , couse sasunoo is like a summen , so , he doesnot need to consntrate all his energy on it , also sasunoo is powered by the shrngun and darkness and mainly there r many forms of sasunoo , it depnds on the power and shrngun ....

I'm gonna give rasenshuriken a chance

here is why.

Rasenshuriken is obviously a wind style jutsu, which leads me to believe it could cut straight through a rib and to Sasuke. On the other hand, it could hit the rib and slowly cut through, allowing Sasuke a counter.

Another possibility is Naruto could expand the rasenshuriken like he did with pein/pain, that could potentially break Susano'o, or at least get through it to Sasuke

You obviously don't understand the concept of the FRS at all.

First of all, it severs the Chakra Pathway System.

Secondly, it attacks the entire body on a cellcular level.

Thirdly, the FRS contains billions of wind blades, while the human body contains roughly 200 trillion cells.

Lastly, the Manga fails to acknowledge the workings of the interior and exterior of the human body.

I HIGHLY doubt it. Susono'o is considered the "Ultimate Defense" if you will. I don't think a high-powered Rasengan in a Shuriken-Form can cut through Susono'o. Maybe Saskue's, but Itachi's could block it easy with that sheild.

Yes, that is indeed true. Gaara's sand was considered "Ultimate Defense" but then came along Itachi's Susono'o. Also, keep in mind that Susono'o hasn't been peirced by Chidori or really annything yet. Danzo tried shoving a Kunai into Susono'o but it just broke. I know very well that Itachi is dead, but the fact of the matter is that RasenShuriken can NOT peirce Itachi Susono'o, but can peirce Saskue's.
