For the sake of quality they should stop editing but if they censor and clean up then they can reach a larger fan-base. Elementary my dear Watson.

Also I have noticed how the United States seems to have a problem deciding what is right and wrong, currently it seems like many censors would rather have kids/younger audiences watch violence over suggestive content but wasn't their a time when that was the opposite?

I agree, even at the age of 10 or 11 i could tell that One Piece had been edited, how can someone get stabbed, cut, punched and kicked (by Luffy) and not bleed or get any visible wounds, and who's idea was it to change Sanji's smoking habit to a lolypop licking habit?

Besides, you do realize that just making something English dubbed is a form of editing? So you want America to stop English dubbing, but any other country can just keep dubbing however they please?

And although you mentioned the US in specific, you do realize that if you say America should stop editing, that means you're saying all of North and South America should stop editing, right? You shouldn't drag other countries into this unless you know for a fact that they are just as bad--if not worse--with editing.
