This is a fanfic that i've been working on. Please tell me what you think.
Chapter I: One Year Later.
One year had passed since the events of Dirge Of Cerberus, Cloud and company had become pretty famous among not only the Turks, but Shinra and the town of Edge. They were often hired out by Shinra's president, Rufus Shinra, to complete tasks that were extremely complicated. They worked along side turks such as Reno and Rude, Cloud just so happened to be out on one of these missions.
Everything was dark and light was naught to be seen. Nor was there a noise to be heard, not that there was anyone around to hear it if there were. A slight echo could be heard in the distance by the dessert animals, a very dim light was seen off in the distance. Closer, the light grew, the sound got louder. It got close enough that the animals fled once it appeared and raced past the night time creatures. A very loud engine noise could be heard as a man on a motorcycle raced through the empty dessert, there was a ringing noise, the man reached down and grabbed what looked like a phone.
"Reno, yeah, got it", the man had medium length blonde hair, his name was Cloud Strife. He started to see a very dull light off in the distance aside from the light that was emitting from the front of his bike. He slid his left hand closer to the center of the handle bars until he was able to press down a button with his thumb. Fire began spitting out from behind he bike, his hair blew wildly around as he achieved speeds much higher then he was at before. The light that had been seen in the distance now grew closer as Cloud sped through the night time dessert. The lights had grown blinding as the town had came very close when Cloud came to a sudden stop.
Cloud got off of his bike and looked at the wall. "It looks like a fortress, time to go inside," Cloud walked towards the wall and began feeling up and down along the wall for some sort of switch. Eventually he found a switch that opened the door instantly, Cloud entered the town. Cloud looked around and noticed that the town was vacant, "where is everybody?" Cloud walked farther into the town and still nothing, then he noticed something as he walked into the street, a single building with lights on. He walked towards the light and lightly grippid the hilt of his Buster Sword, using his other hand he reached for the door to open it. The door was slowly pulled open and there was nothing inside but a few lamps and tables and chairs, Cloud walked inside, "something doesn't feel right about this place."
Cloud walked into the center of the room and noticed a slightly open door, he pulled it open and proceeded to walk down the staircase that was on the other side. He gripped his sword even tighter as he walked farther down the staircase, he reached yet another door and opened it. Inside was a laboratory, a laboratory that seemed to have been recently used. Cloud walked into the lab and looked around, he noticed a couple of tanks with a cover over them hiding what was inside. He walked towards it and removed the cover only to reveal Sephiroth, two Sephiroth's, one in each tank. "What the, Sephiroth!" Cloud, in a bit of shock and rage, swung his sword at the tanks and destroyed both. The bodies remained in place and Cloud couldn't do anything but stare, he then recalled Sephiroth.

Zack had ran up a flight of stairs with his Buster Sword in hand, he attacked Sephiroth with a very powerful swing. Sephiroth blocked the attack with his own sword, forcing Zack backwards. Sephiroth walked towards Zack and prepared for a devistating attack, Zack lifted his sword up and blocked as Sephiroth swung. The two had locked their swords, Sephiroth then forced his own sword back and shot Zack backwards with great force. Sephiroth proceeded into the room above the stairs where there was an estranged looking body inside of a large container. "Mother, don't worry, now we can finally be together," Sephiroth prepared to take his "mother" with him but was pierced in the back by non other then Cloud.
Sephiroth fell, Cloud pulled the sword out of Sephiroth's back, he had stopped a great evil. Cloud walked out of the room and back down the stairs to where Zack and Tifa were. Cloud bent down and grabbed Tifa, he held her tightly. Suddenly Sephiroth walked out of the room at the top of the stairs, he was holding his "mother". Cloud noticed this and stood up, "finish him Cloud," Cloud took the words of his friend and did exactly what his friend said. He picked up the Buster Sword and prepaired to charge Sephiroth, "Sephiroth......die," Cloud jumped and swung the sword at Sephiroth, they clashed swords.

Cloud had remembered how Sephiroth was and he remembered his friend Zack, it was a bit to much for him. Cloud started to remember how his friend Zack had died, he stopped himself before he could because he didn't want to bring up horrible past memories. Cloud already had to deal with a copy Sephiroth that had been causing destruction for a couple of weeks now, that's why he was there in the first place. Cloud had gotten his head together and decided to return to his search for info, then he heard a noise coming from a different room and decided to see what it was.
He walked over to the door where the sound was and opened it, still holding his sword with a very tight grip. He opened up the door and revealed a familiar face, the face of a young man with silver hair, Kadaj. "K....Kadaj, what are you doing alive?" Kadaj turned around and only looked at Cloud, "what are you talking about and who are you?" Cloud looked at Kadaj and was stunned, he thought Kadaj was just trying to trick him but the look on Kadaj's face said otherwise. "Wait, you died, in my arms, two years ago. What are you doing alive?" Kadaj looked puzzled, "i'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about." Suddenly, there was another figure who aproached Kadaj from behind, "don't worry, this is not the same Kadaj that you knew."
Cloud watched as a man, easily in his 40's stepped out from behind Kadaj, "who are you?" The man just laughed, "I am Vegehart, Havoc Vegehart, pleased to meet you." The man reached his hand out to formally shake Cloud's hand but Cloud simply looked at the mans hand, the man pulled it away. "What's going on here Vegehart, who is this fake of Kadaj?", Havoc looked over at Cloud and then back at Kadaj, "he......is the true Kadaj. The one you met two years ago was a fake, a clone." Cloud looked at Kadaj, "so you're saying that the one that died was a clone. If that's the case then where did he come from?" Havoc sat down in a nearby chair, "he was created when I was experimenting with this young man of whom I believed to be a fraction of Sephiroth. In truth, I wanted to create a Sephiroth clone in order to use against our enemies."
Cloud began to get angry at what the man had said, "did you not know who Sephiroth was, he was pure evil." Cloud turned around, "i'm leaving, I don't want anything to do with someone who wants Sephiroth around," with that he leaves. Kadaj looks over at Havoc, "what was all of that about?" Havoc turned around and faced a woman who looked to be in her early 40's, "nothing, just forget that he ever came here. Nebra wants the Sephiroth clones soon, we don't have time to worry about what other people think of our work. Shall we, Mary?" The woman simply smiled, "yes, I think we should. Sephiroth is getting restless so we must hurry." Both Havoc and Mary walk back into the room that they came out of, Kadaj watched as they left, "I am starting to remember things that I don't recall ever going through, for some reason, that man that was just here seems very familiar."
Cloud exits the town and picks up his phone from out of his pocket, "Reno, it's not them, they have his DNA but it's not Sephiroth." On the other end of the phone Reno's voice could be heard, "well get back here then, we have to find him before he is able to deal anymore damage." Cloud simply nodded and grunted slightly as he hung up his phone and got back on his motorcycle, "Sephiroth, I know you're out there, I will find you and kill you."
